Christopher Nolan's upcoming film The Odyssey has expanded its marketing campaign with an official Roblox companion game ahead of its theatrical release. The free-to-play experience, The Odyssey: Defy the Gods, is now live on Roblox. It has already surpassed 1.8M visits.

Developed by The Odyssey Movie, the multiplayer survival game puts players in charge of an ancient sea voyage. They must recruit crew members, explore mysterious islands, gather food and wood, and solve puzzles for legendary rewards. Players also face storms and whirlpools while trying to appease the gods and sail home safely.

The Odyssey Roblox Game Follows Hollywood's Gaming Marketing Trend
