Campaign and DMZ Set Across a Global Conflict
The campaign follows Private Park, a South Korean soldier facing combat for the first time after North Korea invades South Korea.
Captain Price pursues a separate mission outside the system he once served in. Missions feature Korean trench warfare, Paris chases, New York combat, SAS night raids in Mumbai, and attempts to reclaim occupied cities.
DMZ takes place in Hajin, a nuclear exclusion zone bordering Russia and the Korean Peninsula. Players recover abandoned military technology while facing rival forces, changing weather, and a bounty system. Operator Trait Trees and Forward Operating Base upgrades support progression.
Multiplayer and Platform Requirements
Multiplayer launches with 12 new 6v6 maps and large-scale Ground War battles. Infinity Ward’s Ballistic Authority system links aiming, audio, weapon handling, and visibility while removing bullet bloom so shots follow recoil.
Digital Legends is developing the Switch 2 version with Infinity Ward, while Beenox optimizes PC performance.
Likewise, RICOCHET Anti-Cheat provides detection and mitigation systems. PC requires TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. All versions need an internet connection and an Activision account; a linked phone number may be required.
Xbox console multiplayer requires Game Pass Essential separately.
