Sony's State of Play for June 2026 ran for just over an hour and covered a wide range of titles, from long-awaited release date reveals to a couple of genuine surprises. Marvel’s Wolverine got its first extended gameplay reveal, showing off Wolverine and Jean Grey in action.

Every Game Shown at State of Play June 2026
Marvel's Wolverine
The show opened with a new extended gameplay section. Logan is playable in his yellow suit. Jean Grey appears in a cutscene to help rescue a mutant child, with a team-up move that has her levitating enemies while Wolverine slices through them. Sabretooth and Omega Red also appear in the final moments of the story trailer. No release date yet.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls
Fans got a new look at the Marvel fighting game, with Doctor Doom, Magneto, Carnage, and Green Goblin shown in action. Launches August 6.
Rayman Legends Retold
Ubisoft confirmed what multiple pre-show leaks had already suggested. Rayman is back, with a revisit to Rayman Legends in a retooled edition. No release date given.
Bancho Sushi
Dave the Diver developer Mintrocket is back with a prequel telling the origin story of Bancho the Chef, the sushi master from the original game. No release date.
Kemuri
We got a first look at a three-player action game about hunting yokai, developed by Unseen Games, the studio founded by Ghostwire: Tokyo creative director Ikumi Nakamura. Arriving in 2027.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis
Crystal Dynamics' remake of the original Tomb Raider got a proper look, with noticeably smoother controls compared to the previous gameplay trailers. Launches February 12, 2027.
The Lost Wild
We got a brief showcase of a stealth-focused game featuring dinosaurs. Not much detail beyond the premise was offered by the developers. No release date.
Phantom Blade Zero
ATLUS dropped a short teaser for the Persona franchise’s Phantom Blade Zero was shown with the promise of a dedicated deep-dive State of Play later this summer, ahead of a confirmed September 2027 release window.
Dune: Awakening
The survival MMO set in the Dune universe is nearly here. The game is slated for release on September 22.
Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered
A remaster of the classic is coming October 1. The developers will offer a more in-depth update at a later date.
No Rest for the Wicked
Moon Studios confirmed the full 1.0 release of the early access action RPG is coming to PS5 in October 2026.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword
Fans got another look at Capcom's action game, with a confirmed release date of September 25. A playable demo also went live immediately after the trailer on Steam.
Silent Hill: Townfall
A new trailer for the horror title dropped with a release date of September 24. Given the success of Silent Hill: F, fans will be looking forward to this one.
Stuntman Hollywood
A surprise return for the long-dormant Stuntman series. The reboot features real-life movie and TV sequences, including Back to the Future and Knight Rider. No release date given.
Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve
We got a story trailer for the next entry in Bandai Namco's flight combat series. Launches October 2.
ILL
Another look at the deeply unsettling horror title. The game draws inspiration from S.T.A.L.K.E.R and Metro games. Coming 2027.
Control Resonant
Remedy's standalone Control follow-up continues to look exceptional. A story trailer confirmed a September 24 release date, the same day as Silent Hill: Townfall.
Marathon: Nightfall
Bungie showed off Marathon's second season, Nightfall, which went live on June 2. There was no mention of Destiny 3 news by the developer.
Until Dawn 2
Firesprite surprised everyone with the announcement of a sequel to its 2015 horror game. A group of ghosthunters visits a tropical island where things go predictably wrong. Arriving in 2027.
God of War: Laufey
The show closed with twenty minutes of gameplay from Santa Monica Studio's next entry in the God of War series. The sequence follows Faye’s adventures through a colourful, mythology-blending world featuring Egyptian and fiery demon-like gods alongside the Norse setting of the previous entries. No release date given.
PS Plus Update
Runescape: Dragonwilds is joining the service later in 2026. Classic titles Gitaroo Man, Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, and Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams are joining the PS Plus classics library.
