Nazara Technologies has launched Bodycam UEFN, a free-to-play adaptation of the PC shooter inside Fortnite, marking the Indian gaming company’s first release on the platform.
Developed by Virstate using Unreal Editor for Fortnite, the experience was announced as available on Sept. 11. It brings Bodycam’s body-camera perspective and close-quarters multiplayer combat to a Fortnite island under agreement with Reissad Studio, the original game’s developer. Players can find it through Fortnite Discover or enter island code 9784-3946-5466.
Bodycam UEFN Adds New Modes and Progression to Fortnite
The release follows Nazara’s initial announcement of the project in September 2025. The launch includes Russian Building, an environment from the original game redesigned for Fortnite. Its matches emphasize positioning, sound awareness, reflexes, and precision across three modes: Free For All, Team Deathmatch, and Gun Game.
Players can also progress through ranks, unlock weapons, and collect rewards.

Nazara Targets Long-Term Growth Through Fortnite
Nazara founder and managing director Nitish Mittersain said the company intends to expand its work within Fortnite, using Bodycam as a model for further adaptations, original experiences and partnerships.
The companies plan additional maps, weapons, equipment and modes, alongside seasonal updates and community events. The announcement did not specify a release schedule for those additions.
Reissad Studio Director Luca Dassier said the arrangement allows his studio to keep its focus on the PC game while Nazara and Virstate lead the Fortnite project. He also described the collaboration as an opportunity to gain experience with Verse in preparation for future Unreal Engine development.
