- Palworld has generated nearly $700M in lifetime revenue since launch.

Palworld has surpassed an estimated 30.5M copies sold across PlayStation, Steam, and Xbox following its 1.0 launch. According to Alinea Analytics, the game has also generated nearly $700M USD in lifetime gross revenue from direct software sales. Total players have now crossed 40M, including Xbox Game Pass users.
The full release arrived on July 10, 2026, ending the game's early access period. It quickly reignited player interest.
SteamDB recorded nearly one million concurrent players on July 19, 2026. That marks Palworld's highest peak since its early access debut in January 2024, when it exceeded 2M concurrent players. The game also has a 93.5% positive rating based on more than 455K Steam reviews on SteamDB.
Pocketpair Head of Publishing and Communications, John "Bucky" Buckley, thanked the community after the milestone. He called the figures "mind boggling" and described Palworld as "a surreal and life-changing experience." Buckley even added that while this could be the game's 1.0 peak, the support over the past two years has been overwhelming.
Palworld 1.0 Sparks Sales Surge Across Platforms
Alinea Analytics estimates Palworld sold nearly 1.8M copies in the first 10 days following the 1.0 launch. Platform estimates include:
- Steam: Nearly 1.5M copies sold.
- PlayStation: Around 300K copies sold.
- Xbox: Just under 70K copies sold.
Steam remains the game's largest platform. It represents about 27.1M lifetime sales, or nearly 86% of all copies sold. The firm also credited a 30% launch discount, Palworld's lowest price yet, for helping drive the surge.
New Content Keeps Players Engaged
Version 1.0 introduced 72 new Pals, new dungeons, expanded biomes, higher level caps, mutation raid bosses, and awakening systems, and several quality-of-life improvements.
Player engagement also climbed after launch. The report estimates average daily active users reached 3.7M during the first weekend. Meanwhile, monthly active users are on pace to exceed 10M.
However, Steam accounts for 64.9% of the player base. Xbox, including Game Pass, follows with 31.1%. PlayStation represents the remaining 4%. The analytics firm also found strong long-term engagement. About 20% of Steam owners have logged more than 100 hours, while nearly 200K players have exceeded 500 hours.
Pocketpair is now looking to build on that momentum with Palworld: Palfarm, a farming-themed spin-off currently in development.
