Discord has launched a major expansion of its Nitro subscription by bundling a starter edition of Xbox Game Pass into the service at no additional cost. The feature is rolling out now through a new Nitro Rewards program that also introduces gaming hardware discounts and monthly in-app rewards.
Eligible Nitro subscribers can now access more than 50 downloadable PC and Xbox games, alongside 10 hours of Xbox Cloud Gaming per month. Supported titles include Stardew Valley, Fallout 4, Grounded, DayZ, Deep Rock Galactic, and Overcooked 2, with Discord confirming additional games will be added over time.
Xbox Game Pass and Discord Partnership Detailed
Users with active paid Nitro memberships can claim the Game Pass benefit by navigating to the Nitro Rewards page in Discord’s Nitro Home section, selecting the Xbox Game Pass card or banner, and linking their Microsoft account. Nitro Classic and Nitro Basic plans are excluded, although some gifted memberships and trial offers qualify.
Existing Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also begin receiving Discord Nitro perks later this month, including monthly Orbs rewards and Discord Shop discounts.
Discord’s senior director of product, Lu Zhang, stated that the Game Pass integration changes “how you try games” by reducing the friction of buying titles individually. Zhang also highlighted the included cloud gaming access, which allows players to stream games across more devices.

Nitro Rewards Adds Logitech and SteelSeries Discounts
Alongside Game Pass access, Discord introduced hardware promotions through SteelSeries, Logitech G, and KontrolFreek. Nitro members can receive discounts of up to 30%, depending on the partner brand.
Subscribers will also automatically receive 250 Discord Orbs every month and bonus Orb earnings through Quests.
The rollout marks Discord’s biggest expansion of Nitro since the subscription launched nearly a decade ago, as the platform pushes deeper into gaming services beyond communication features.
