California-based footwear brand Airwalk launched Solo Leveling sandals, with three limited-edition styles on May 17, 2026. New promotional images revealed three pairs of Solo Leveling-themed slides inspired by characters Igris, Beru, and Tank.
The reveal followed the March announcement of the Solo Leveling x Airwalk footwear collection collaboration. As of now, the Solo Leveling Airwalk sandals are available at Don Quijote-affiliated stores across Japan.
Solo Leveling Airwalk Sandals: Shadow Soldier Designs and Price
The Solo Leveling sandal collection features three distinct designs based on some iconic Shadow Soldiers from Sung Jinwoo's army, including Igris. Each pair's color palette draws from the character's backstory.
Igris-themed sandals are red, reflecting his history as the Bloodred Commander. The Tank-inspired slides feature an icy blue color-scheme, reflecting his origins as an Ice Bear. Meanwhile, the Beru design blends black and purple tones, reminiscing his evolution from past formidable Ant King.
Solo Leveling/Airwalk
Each slide pair is priced at ¥2,530 (~$17 USD) in Japan. Even though the sandals are currently only available in Japan, Airwalk has an existing retail partnership with Walmart, which raises the possibility of a future U.S. rollout. However, international availability has not been confirmed.
The footwear launch also follows a wave of Solo Leveling-fashion collaborations with prominent brands like ‘a statement of’ and G2. For Airwalk, which turns 40 in 2026, pairing the anniversary with a high-value anime IP can give the brand a visibility push among anime-adjacent streetwear landscapes.
Solo Leveling is now a trending topic among the anime and manhwa communities, with season 3 in prolonged development, and producer Atsushi Kaneko publicly asking fans for patience. Solo Leveling live-action series has reportedly started filming, as per lead actor Byeon Woo-seok’s Weverse post.
