New HYBE Recruitment Drive Comes Amidst BTS Busan Concert Scrutiny
The recruitment comes after HYBE faced heightened scrutiny over event management issues at the group's recent Busan concerts. The label publicly apologized via Weverse after there was a delay of 75 minutes and over 20 minutes during Day 1 and Day 2, respectively. HYBE stated that during the first day, the delay occurred due to congested audience entry, fan gift distribution, and merchandise collection. The company has now pledged to strengthen on-site operations for upcoming events. Additionally, there were also separate reports where the deployment of Busan public officials for concert operations ignited an argument over how responsibilities should be shared between organizers and domestic authorities.

While the company has not explicitly mentioned that the management overhaul is associated with the Busan row, the scope of the openings potentially reflects the same. They also depict the need for an upgraded multidisciplinary workforce that is very much necessary to manage the business operations of a global group like BTS.
Creative Roles Reflect Evolving K-pop Operations
The experience required varies from role to role. Some positions seek professionals with at least seven or more years of experience, while many other openings depict a three to five years of experience bracket. On social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter), fans noted how many of these roles appeared to be designed to attract younger creative professionals, prompting speculation that HYBE may be updating parts of the team supporting the group, as per the latest market demands. The variety of listings also shows how modern K-pop agencies operate as integrated entertainment organizations instead of typical record labels.

BTS Careers Draw Interest from Fans and Professionals
For many people, including the fans who are into such (or similar) professions, the postings come as a rare chance to work behind the scenes with BTS. Whereas, others view the overhaul as a welcoming moment for fresh perspectives into HYBE's music and the wider fan experience ecosystem. Notably, the transition comes just as the group is about to embark on its European leg of its ARIRANG world tour.
