Highlights

  • Jujutsu Kaisen x Monster Strike third collab runs from mid-July to early August, introducing Culling Game arc characters through a limited-time gacha.
  • Players can obtain Kenjaku, Kinji Hakari, Kirara, and multiple quest-exclusive characters and earn collaboration rewards.
  • The event also strengthens returning JJK characters from previous collaborations with new evolution forms.

The Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK) franchise is returning to Mixi’s hit mobile game Monster Strike with a third collaboration event, the game announced on July 12. The limited-time event runs from July 14 to Aug 2, 2026, with collaboration missions continuing until Aug 3.

The third Jujutsu Kaisen x Monster Strike event will bring characters from the JJK Culling Game arc, adding Yuta Okkotsu, Choso, Maki Zenin, Panda, and Fumihiko Takaba to a limited-time gacha banner. Additionally, seven other characters, including Reggie Star and Takako Uro, will appear in the collaboration quest, featuring quest completion bonuses.

Mixi and Monster Strike are also using the event to upgrade characters from their first two Jujutsu Kaisen collaborations, granting them evolution forms previously unavailable. Each appearing character will have a specific number to distinguish it from previous collabs.

Monster Strike’s web shop is selling the collaboration gacha 12 hours ahead of the in-app release. The limited pre-sale on the web shop comes with special offers of getting the ‘★6 characters’ in various Beast God Evolution forms.

What Can Players Get in Jujutsu Kaisen x Monster Strike Gacha?

The limited Jujutsu Kaisen x Monster Strike gacha centers on the five six-star (★6) characters pulled from the Culling Game arc. Separately, a paid Collaboration Starter Pack guarantees Kinji Hakari and Kirara, while completing in-game missions can unlock the primary antagonist, Kenjaku, for free.

Gacha characters coming in the third Jujutsu Kaisen x Monster Strike collaboration are as follows:

Maki Zenin★6 (Before Beast Transformation)

In the collaboration quests, players can also earn exclusive Strike Seals, voice packs, and in-game items. Additionally, logging in during the event period will also unlock several collaboration-exclusive items, including Toku Orbs and True Beast God Orbs.

Monster Strike is also running a separate X campaign for the JJK event. Entrants can win one of 100 collaboration-branded QUO gift cards worth ¥3K, or one of five prize bundles containing a mobile Wi-Fi router.

Older Collab Characters Get Stronger in Jujutsu Kaisen x Monster Strike Third Collab

Rather than limiting the Collab 3 to only new content, Mixi is also refreshing characters released in earlier Jujutsu Kaisen collaborations. A total of 15 JJK characters will appear during the third collaborative event, as per the announcement.

First-wave characters Yuji Itadori, Kento Nanami, and Gojo Satoru receive the game’s powerful True Beast Evolution forms, while second-collab additions Nobara Kugisaki, Mei Mei, and Megumi Fushiguro become eligible for Kai Evolution.

Additionally, the second collaboration’s Starter Pack, which includes “The Strongest Duo Gojo Satoru & Geto Suguru (★6),” in Beast God Evolution forms, is also available. Both starter packs are priced at ¥1K (~$7).

In addition to the new quests, the previous STARLIGHT MIRAGE x Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Movie gacha mission is also available during the window. The event extends a partnership that has run consistently since Jujutsu Kaisen and Monster Strike’s first crossover in 2021.

For Jujutsu Kaisen, the new collaboration edition reinforces the franchise’s commercial strength beyond television, at a time when it is waiting for its fourth season. The collaboration is also timed with Jujutsu Kaisen’s 5th anniversary celebration, which will culminate with Juju Fes 2026 on Aug 29-30, 2026, at Yokohama, Japan.
