Animation ID confirmed that the light anime adaptation of SORAJIMA and Aminohada's With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess (Kizu Darake Seijo Yori Hōfuku wo Komete) is premiering a second season in October 2026, alongside a new teaser trailer and a fresh round of staff and cast announcements.
The new season picks up after a first run that aired last summer. The run spanned 12 episodes and covered the opening arcs of the webtoon, featuring Rua's transformation from the bullied "Broken Saintess" into a villainess working with the second prince to expose a Temple-led conspiracy.
The studio has handed directing duties to a new lead. Saya Fukase is directing the anime at IMAGICA Infos / Imageworks Studio, replacing first season's director Chisaki. Most of the original audio and production team is staying on. Returning staff members include sound director Yūichi Imaizumi, Hiroki Nozaki and Airi Kobayashi for sound effects, music composer onoken, and Kazuya Takahashi overseeing the production.
Where to watch 'With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess' Season 2 in India
For Indian viewers, the streaming pipeline established for Season 1 is the most likely route for the sequel. The Ani-One India YouTube channel and Amazon Prime Video's Anime Times channel began streaming the light anime adaptation on July 10, 2025.
Ani-One Asia holds the license for the Greater China, South East Asia, and South Asia regions, which covers India. A Season 2 streaming announcement for the territory has not yet been made, but the existing license suggests continuity.
The October 2026 window places Broken Saintess inside one of the most crowded anime calendars in recent memory, with sequel-heavy slates and remakes dominating the year's release schedule. The season also overlaps with other major October 2026 launches, including the Black Clover anime's return on Crunchyroll after a five-year gap.
The plot of Season 2 has not been detailed, but Rua's alliance with Second Prince Sven against the Temple's High Priest sets up the conspiracy arc that drives the later chapters of the webtoon. With the main story now complete, the production team has a defined endpoint to work toward, though Animation ID has not confirmed how many episodes Season 2 will cover or whether further seasons are planned.
A specific October premiere date and the full subtitled trailer are expected closer to launch.
