Taiwan-based computer hardware manufacturer Micro-Star International(MSI), has secured an exclusive partnership to supply gaming PCs and laptops for Red Bull League of Its Own tournament, marking a deepening relationship between hardware vendors and esports event organizers.

The deal, announced this week, will see MSI deploy more than 50 custom-built gaming systems for the Nov. 29 competition at Munich's SAP Garden. The equipment will support tournament play, broadcasting operations and content creation zones throughout the venue.

League of Its Own has emerged as one of Europe's premier invitational events for "League of Legends," Riot Games' flagship multiplayer title. Last year's Paris edition drew peak viewership of 612,000, featuring prominent teams including South Korea's T1 and Europe's G2 Esports.

Gaming Hardware Partnership Expands MSI's Esports Infrastructure Role

The partnership extends MSI's foothold in competitive gaming beyond sponsorship into operational infrastructure. The company has hosted tournaments through its MSI Gaming Arena platform since 2010 but recently expanded its collaboration with Red Bull to scale those events globally.

"We are proud to stand behind T1 and Europe's top teams, ensuring both players and fans experience the most thrilling moments of competition," said Sam Chern, MSI's marketing vice president.

MSI will supply high-performance desktops from its MEG, MPG and MAG product lines, along with Katana-series laptops for broadcasting applications. The MPG Trident AS and MAG Infinite S3 models will handle training and tournament operations, with all competitive and backstage setups using MSI equipment.

The arrangement reflects Red Bull's strategy of anchoring large-scale esports events through infrastructure partnerships. Earlier this year, the energy-drink maker extended its multiyear agreement with Riot Games covering League of Legends and Valorant competitions in Europe, the Middle East and Africa through 2026.

For MSI, which operates in more than 120 countries, the exclusive deal offers visibility among professional teams and global audiences as hardware vendors increasingly shift from pure sponsorship to integrated logistics roles. The partnership underscores how esports organizers are prioritizing performance consistency and production reliability as competitive gaming continues its transition from niche entertainment to mainstream spectacle.
