S8UL Esports, one of India’s leading gaming organizations, has officially expanded its competitive portfolio by acquiring the renowned roster of Team Elite. Announced on Wednesday, the move marks the formation of "S8UL Elite", a new squad dedicated to competing in Free Fire MAX. This acquisition underscores the organization's strategy to field championship-winning teams across all major esports titles in the country.
The new S8UL Elite lineup is headlined by veteran in-game leader (IGL) Lokesh Karakoti, popularly known as Pahadi. He is joined by a formidable lineup of teammates, including Jayesh Yadav (Mr Jay), Hasan Haider (Hasan), Adeeb Ansari (Adeeb), and Syed Arman Ali (Arman). By bringing together these established players, S8UL aims to immediately assert dominance in the circuit with a squad that combines tactical leadership with raw firepower.
Naman Mathur, famous as Mortal and the Co-founder of S8UL Esports, shared his enthusiasm regarding the new acquisition. "We are delighted to onboard some of the most promising players from the Free Fire MAX scene," Mathur stated.
He noted that each player brings a unique skill set and a deep understanding of the game mechanics, making the roster a valuable addition to their family. Mathur emphasized that S8UL’s commitment has always been to compete at the highest level, and he looks forward to seeing S8UL Elite make its mark in upcoming tournaments.
Championship Heritage and Individual Accolades
Individual brilliance defines this new roster. Pahadi, who is also a massive content creator with over 1.63 million YouTube subscribers, played a crucial role in Team Elite’s victory at the Free Fire India Championship 2021 Fall. That win secured the team over INR 41.3 lakh in prize money and cemented their status as top-tier competitors.
Pahadi was also recently honored with the "Best Sniper of the Year" award by publisher Garena. His teammate, Mr. Jay, is equally accomplished, holding the "Rusher of the Year" title and having previously led his squad to victory at the Free Fire Tri Series 2021.
For the players, joining S8UL is a major career milestone. Pahadi described the move as a "dream come true," referring to S8UL as the home of India’s biggest gaming icons and a brand that has redefined professional gaming. He added that with the full support of the organization, the team is laser-focused on performing at their peak in future competitions.
This announcement concludes a historic year for S8UL Esports. Earlier in 2025, the organization made headlines by representing India at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, an event boasting a prize pool exceeding INR 600 crore. Their momentum continues off the server as well, with the organization earning four nominations at the Esports Awards 2025.
These nominations recognize the collective efforts of S8UL Esports, its co-founder Animesh Agarwal, and popular creators Payal Dhare and Raj Varma, reinforcing their mission to empower Indian gamers while setting new benchmarks in excellence.
