  • S8UL Esports has formed a new League of Legends roster with players from India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, aiming for the 2025 LCP Wildcards Playoffs.

  • The lineup includes Kat Bot, Infi, and Angelslotus plus Nero (India), RTO (Bangladesh), and KratoZ (Sri Lanka).

  • The move marks S8UL’s push to establish a competitive presence in international LoL tournaments.

India-based esports organization S8UL Esports announced that it has signed a League of Legends roster comprising players from India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. The team aims to compete globally and reach the League of Legends Championship Pacific (LCP) Wildcards Playoffs in 2025.

The team features Akshaj “Kat Bot” Shenoy, Aakash “Infi” Shandilya, and Mihir “Angelslotus” Ranjan, three players who represented India in League of Legends at the Asian Games in 2022. They will be joined by Ahmed “Nero” Shahid from India, Mehrab “RTO” Uddin Ahmed from Bangladesh, and Tharuka “KratoZ” Fernando from Sri Lanka.

The players were competing together under the Temple of Kings banner before joining S8UL. They won multiple events in South Asia, including the Skyesports WD Black Cup 1 & 2, Pro League, The Esports Club July Open 2024, The Esports Club August Open 2024, and the SMG South Asia Cup 1, 2, and 3. In 2025, the team secured four back-to-back tournament victories and will continue competing under S8UL.

"This roster has already shown what it's capable of, consistently dominating the regional circuit," said Animesh Agarwal, chief executive of S8UL Esports, in a release.. “Now that they are under the S8UL banner, we are excited to support them in their journey to greater heights and help pave the way for South Asia to make its mark in global League of Legends esports.”

Kat Bot will lead the team in future events. “Joining S8UL is a defining moment for us,” he said in a release. “We’ve been grinding together for years, and to now be part of India’s biggest esports organisation gives us the platform to take things to the next level. With the support S8UL brings, we’re ready to prove our mettle at the highest level.”

S8UL’s new roster is set to compete in the upcoming Legends Ascend 2025 event, which is India’s first amateur League of Legends event by the game’s publisher, Riot Games. If S8UL’s new roster secures victory at the event, it will earn a spot at the LCP Wildcards Playoffs. The event kicks off on August 3, 2025, and it features a prize pool of INR 10,00,000 ($11,621).
