Highlights

  • NODWIN Gaming partners with SARC Global to align India's esports market with government policy and investor access.
  • The alliance targets tournament promotion, IP monetization, and state-backed infrastructural growth.
  • India’s esports market's projected growth at 18.4% CAGR (2025–2033), and state-level investments in AGVC-XR industry are attracting new initiatives in the sector.

SARC Global and NODWIN Gaming announced that they have formed a partnership to develop India's esports market through tournament promotion and government advocacy.

The Sept. 25 agreement targets three areas: promoting tournaments, monetizing NODWIN's gaming intellectual properties, and lobbying for esports-friendly policies with government officials.

"The collaboration will create new commercial opportunities for esports and help in building a sustainable ecosystem, aligned with the goal of PM Narendra Modi towards Viksit Bharat," said Sunil Kumar Gupta, SARC Global's chairman.

The partnership follows recent pro-gaming moves by state governments in Maharashtra, Bihar and Rajasthan, as well as changes in central regulations.

How SARC Global and NODWIN Gaming Will Split Responsibilities

NODWIN Gaming CEO Gautam Singh said the companies are "trying to bridge the world of competitive gaming with the business and policy frameworks that will allow it to thrive in the long run."

SARC Global will handle policy access, investor connections and subsidy navigation, while NODWIN will contribute gaming properties, event management and media-rights experience. The companies said they aim to convert policy initiatives into subsidies, venue partnerships and public-private programs.

The timing is crucial for the Indian gaming and esports market, which is projected to have a growth rate of 18.40% CGAR between 2025-2033. With the state governments of Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu recently announcing heavy investments in the AGVC-XR sector to build world-class infrastructure, this initiative could help boost the industry even further.
