  • Royal Kingdom earned $301M in its first year, surpassing Royal Match.
  • October 2025 marks the highest monthly revenue at $43.6M.
  • Royal Match remains the top-grossing title despite the sequel’s success.

Royal Kingdom, Dream Games' new puzzle game, has earned more than $300 million in its first year, overtaking Royal Match. According to AppMagic mobile games data, Royal Kingdom generated $301.1 million on Google Play and the App Store in its first 12 months. This is slightly more than Royal Match’s $296.4 million launch year total.

Dream Games released Royal Kingdom globally on November 21, 2024, following a 19-month soft launch. Its early drive stemmed from rapid growth in high-value markets, with the U.S. leading, and the U.K. and Japan following closely behind. This geographic revenue distribution remained the same across the two games, indicating a growing interest in match-3 mobile game earnings, as the category became increasingly competitive worldwide.

Royal Kingdom Dream Games Revenue Trends

Royal Kingdom has brought in around $325.2 million in revenue so far, including soft-launch earnings, showing that mobile puzzle games are as popular as ever. Meanwhile, the monthly numbers also indicate a continuing increase. October 2025 established a new high of $43.6 million, up 14% from September and considerably beyond the nearly $15.3 million recorded in April.

Royal Kingdom’s strongest day was recorded to be October 25, 2025, when it made $1.9 million after a big update. This update introduced new levels, a new district, and a Halloween event. The $1.9 million earned on its peak day considerably outpaced the $71,000 earned on debut day, showing how swiftly the game has grown. There has also been a rising interest in comparing Royal Match and Royal Kingdom, as both games continue to do well commercially.

Royal Match vs. Royal Kingdom

Despite the Royal Kingdom's promising start, Royal Match remains Dream Games' primary revenue generator. According to AppMagic, the original game has now made over $5 billion worldwide. Even with the sequel on the market, Royal Match soared roughly by 1% year on year, indicating that Royal Kingdom has not significantly utilized its spending.

Royal Kingdom's early success shows that Dream Games can still produce hits in a saturated match-3 space. The game may soon join Royal Match as one of the highest-paying puzzle games, if Dream Games maintains a consistent update schedule and monetization strategy.
