Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios reported that Battlefield 6 sold over 7 million copies in its first three days, setting a new franchise record and making it one of the fastest-selling shooters of 2025.
The launch also recorded the highest concurrent player count in series history, with millions of matches played and 15 million hours streamed across PC and consoles during the opening weekend. Following a record-breaking open beta in August, the game was released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, EA App, and Epic Games Store.

EA’s sales report shows strong digital and physical performance, making Battlefield 6 the fastest-selling shooter of 2025. Online matches and streaming also set new franchise records, highlighting an engaged global player base.
The game features new multiplayer modes, a single-player campaign, and the return of Portal, which allows players to create custom experiences. Seasonal content begins with Season 1 on Oct. 28, introducing a new map, Blackwell Fields, and a 4v4 competitive mode. Two additional phases of content are scheduled later this year.
Battlefield 6 is available in a Standard Edition ($69.99) and a Phantom Edition ($99.99), which includes exclusive cosmetic and performance packs as well as the Battlefield Pro Season 1 bundle.
The launch reinforces the franchise’s continued global popularity and positions EA for sustained engagement in the competitive shooter market.
