iQOO Soul won the BGIS 2026 Grand Finals in Chennai on March 29, 2026, securing INR 1 crore after a narrow finish against Genesis Esports. The title decider drew over 600K peak concurrent viewers, marking the highest viewership recorded for an Indian mobile esports event. The tournament also featured an INR 4 crore prize pool, the largest in BGIS history.
Genesis Esports finished second with INR 50 lakh, followed by Orangutan in the third place with INR 35 lakh. Victores Sumus placed fourth, while GodLike Esports ended in the fifth place after dropping from their Day 2 pace.
Individual awards featured HunterZ being named overall Most Valuable Player (MVP) with INR 3 lakh, while iQOO Soul’s LEGIT became Grand Finals MVP with INR 1.5 lakh.
NakuL from iQOO Soul received the Best In-Game Leader (IGL) award, and Detrox from Myth Official was named Emerging Star. Termi from Learn From Past secured the Best Clutch title.
iQOO Soul also won the fan favorite team award.
Soul’s victory followed a consistent performance across stages. The team topped the semifinals with 172 points, and led Day 2 with 117 points and two chicken dinners. Genesis reduced the gap to three points entering Day 3, leading to a tightly contested final across six matches, with the smallest gap between first and second in BGIS Grand Finals history.

Karan Pathak, Associate Director - Esports at KRAFTON India, said, “BGIS 2026 has shown us what Indian mobile esports looks like when everything comes together.” He added that the scale of participation, live audience, and community contribution reflected broader ecosystem growth.
The event recorded 550K peak concurrent viewers on Day 2 before surpassing 600K on the final day. The INR 4 crore prize pool included INR 2 crore unlocked by players through the Discovery Island in-game initiative before the Chennai finals began.
With multilingual broadcasts and record engagement, BGIS 2026 reinforces the rising scale and mainstream adoption of competitive mobile gaming in India.
