BlackPink Lisa Becomes First K-Pop Soloist in Fortnite S12

Highlights
- Blackpink's Lisa makes history as the first K-pop soloist to headline Fortnite Festival Season 12.
- The update launches November 29 with a cheaper Starlux Music Pass and exclusive outfits.
- Players can jam to hits like Rockstar and New Woman in Fortnite Festival Season 12.
In a massive collision of pop culture worlds, Epic Games has officially confirmed that Blackpink’s Lisa will headline Fortnite Festival Season 12. Set to launch on November 29, 2025, this collaboration marks a historic moment for the metaverse, as Lisa becomes the first K-pop soloist to ever headline a Festival season. The event, confirmed jointly by Epic and Lisa’s management label LLOUD, coincides with the massive rollout of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1.
Lisa joins an elite roster of musical icons who have previously taken over the virtual stage, including Lady Gaga, The Weeknd, Metallica, and Billie Eilish, signalling Epic's continued dedication to blending rhythm gameplay with global stardom.
The centrepiece of Season 12 is the newly rebranded "Starlux Music Pass", which brings a welcome change for the community's wallets. Reports indicate the premium pass will cost 1,400 V-Bucks, a player-friendly reduction from the standard 1,800 V-Bucks price point seen in previous seasons. Purchasing the premium track instantly unlocks the colourful "Melodie Mars" outfit.
However, the ultimate prize for dedicated players who grind through the tiers is the "Rockstar Lisa" outfit. This skin features a black bodysuit with glowing pink and purple accents, capturing a "cyber-warrior" aesthetic perfect for the new season. Fans can also look forward to a separate "Casual Cool" outfit hitting the Item Shop.
Confirmed Jam Tracks and Playlist
Musically, the season promises to bring the same high energy Lisa displayed during her recent Coachella 2025 performance. Following the previous "Mixtape" season—which featured a mashup of artists like Doja Cat and Elton John—Fortnite is returning to its roots by focusing on a single superstar.
Confirmed Jam Tracks include her high-energy anthem Rockstar, which hit number four on the Billboard global charts, the Rosalía collaboration New Woman, and the gritty F*CK UP THE WORLD. These tracks will be playable on the Main Stage or as background music in Battle Royale. While fans are hoping for a Blackpink group track to appear in the pass, that remains a surprise for launch day.
November 29 is shaping up to be a defining day for the entire Fortnite ecosystem. As the current Simpsons-themed season concludes, the game will go offline to usher in Chapter 7, bringing a new map, new mechanics, and the Festival update all at once. Interestingly, the new chapter will also introduce a collaboration with Quentin Tarantino, featuring Kill Bill cosmetics and an integration of an unfilmed chapter from the original movie script.
Beyond the excitement of the new season, fans have also been speculating about crossovers with Lisa’s acting career. While she recently starred as "Mook" in The White Lotus, it is unlikely we will see a skin based on her hotel uniform, though the community certainly wouldn't complain if it happened.
