Duolingo Continues Gaming-Led Engagement With Genshin Crossover

The Genshin Impact and Duolingo crossover is now live, offering players free in-game rewards for completing daily lessons in the Duolingo app. The three-week event that began on Dec. 8, 2025, runs through Dec. 27, and allows users to claim reward codes until Dec. 30, 2025.

The collaboration brings Paimon, Tighnari, and Cyno into Duolingo alongside the platform’s green owl mascot, Duo. Duolingo described the partnership as an “unprecedented” crossover that connects language learning directly to rewards in HoYoverse’s flagship title. 

By completing lessons for three consecutive days, players can unlock Primogems, cosmetics, and upgrade materials in Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact Duolingo Quest Rewards, Rules, and Redemption

To participate, users must opt into the “Genshin Impact Quest” and complete one unit lesson per day for three consecutive days. Players must join by Dec. 25 at 11:59:59 p.m. UTC to ensure enough time to finish the streak. Streak freezes do not count, and once a streak breaks, progress cannot be restarted.

Upon completion, players receive a personalized redemption code to be used on the official Genshin Impact website. Rewards arrive via in-game mail and remain claimable for 30 days. The bundle includes:

• Namecard “Celebration: Dream Reader” ×1
• Recipe “Spiced Fried Chicken” ×1
• Food “Spiced Fried Chicken” ×1
• 60 Primogems
• Mystic Enhancement Ore ×4
• Hero’s Wit ×2

Codes are valid through Jan. 31, 2026, across America, Europe, Asia, and Taiwan (TW), Hong Kong (HK), and Macau (MO) servers. Only one reward bundle per Duolingo account is allowed, and players must be Adventure Rank 2 or higher. Participation is free and limited to select regions.

Genshin Impact has previously partnered with McDonald’s, Cold Stone, and Among Us, and the Duolingo tie-up continues the game’s push beyond traditional brand collaborations into daily engagement platforms.
