In a massive step for the newly launched EA Sports FC Pro Mobile esports ecosystem, EA has confirmed Bangkok and Seoul as the host cities for its first major international live events. Bringing the action directly to the heart of Asia, a true powerhouse for mobile gaming, this strategic move offers talented players a clear, life-changing path from online qualifiers to international glory.

The competitive journey kicks off in Bangkok, Thailand, which will host the Mid-Season Playoffs from August 6 to August 9, 2026. Set at the Kantana Post Production Studio, the event brings together 24 of the top-performing players who battled their way through the rigorous Global Qualifiers. 

Representing regions that include APAC, Europe, the Americas, MENA, Southeast Asia, China, Korea, Vietnam, and Türkiye, these competitors will face the first major test of EA’s new competitive structure. Players will fight through a tense group stage before moving into a high-stakes, single-elimination bracket, all competing for a share of a $100,000 USD prize pool and the circuit's first international championship title.

However, the stakes in Bangkok are deeply personal for these competitors, as the top eight players will secure a direct ticket to the ultimate showdown. Following the Thailand playoffs, the competitive season will reach its thrilling conclusion in Seoul, South Korea, with the first-ever FC Pro Mobile World Championship. 

Who Will Be the First EA Sports FC Pro Mobile World Champion in Seoul?

From October 19 to October 25, 2026, the stunning Dongdaemun Design Plaza Showroom will host 32 of the world's absolute best players. There, they will compete for a massive $250,000 USD prize pool, officially cementing the game's competitive legacy on a live stage as one player is crowned the inaugural FC Pro Mobile World Champion, as per PocketGamer.biz. 

Hosting both of these milestone events in Asia is a calculated and exciting move by EA to build a long-lasting, high-quality ecosystem that gives mobile esports competitors the premium spotlight they deserve. The region's gaming culture is incredibly mobile-centric, with mobile titles making up about 71% of all gaming revenue in Southeast Asia alone. 

First introduced earlier this year, the dedicated 2026 esports circuit structure includes Global Qualifiers, regional competitions, partner leagues, the Mid-Season Playoffs, and the World Championship.
