Epic Games March Store: Claim Havendock and Hyper Echelon For Free

If you are looking to expand your PC gaming library without spending a single dime, the Epic Games Store has officially announced its final free game lineup for March. Starting on March 26, 2026, at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET, you can log in to permanently claim two fantastic games: the cozy colony simulator Havendock and the retro arcade shooter Hyper Echelon.

Together, these two distinct titles offer a combined value of roughly $33 and will remain free to download and keep forever until April 2. This marks the very first time Epic Games Store users have been able to claim either of these titles at no cost.

Havendock 

Developed by YYZ Studio and fully released in April 2025, Havendock is an engaging ocean survival and colony-building game that typically retails for $19.99. It tasks you with building a bustling, self-sustaining settlement from scratch on a floating raft through resource gathering, farming, and light automation systems. 

The indie builder has been incredibly well-received, boasting "Very Positive" reviews from over 1,400 players on Steam and a "Strong" rating of 75 on OpenCritic. As a somewhat rare and welcome bonus for Epic's freebies, it is also playable on macOS.

Hyper Echelon 

Created by the Swiss studio GangoGames, this fast-paced, action-packed sci-fi game is normally priced at $12.99. First released in November 2021, Hyper Echelon is meticulously designed to emulate classic 2D vertical shoot-'em-up arcade games with modern, upgrade-driven progression. It features a dedicated single-player campaign and a unique tactical "Wingman" system that lets you control two ships at once for increased firepower. 

It also shines as a couch co-op experience, offering local multiplayer where a second player can take on the Wingman role, and it supports Xbox and DualShock controllers.

Electrician Simulator 

Until the new lineup arrives on March 26, you still have time to grab the current week's active free game. Normally $17.99, Take IT Studio's 2022 title is a first-person simulation about household electrical jobs. Mobile gamers are not being left out, either. If you use an Android device globally or iOS in the European Union, you can currently download the charming role-playing sim Potion Permit for free directly through the Epic Games Store mobile app.
