The virtual runway is about to get a major dose of global pop stardom. Roblox’s sensational fashion game, Dress to Impress (DTI), has officially announced a massive collaboration with the hit girl group KATSEYE. Launching this Saturday, April 18, the crossover has already generated staggering hype. Gaming data shows that over 1.6 million interested players have turned on event notifications, ready to swarm the servers the moment the update drops. Fans can jump into the action starting at 11:00 PM SGT.
To welcome KATSEYE to the runway, players can expect a complete visual refresh of the game. The developers are rolling out a revamped lobby, an updated logo, and a vibrant, Tokyo-inspired Kirameki District stage that hints at spectacular in-game performances. The crossover spotlights all six members of the group, Sophia, Daniela, Yoonchae, Lara, Megan, and Manon, who is making a special appearance despite her current hiatus.
When it comes to the fashion itself, players will be able to style their avatars with around 12 confirmed individual clothing items, alongside signature hairstyles, makeup, and exclusive accessories like a special heart necklace. The new wardrobe additions will allow fans to recreate iconic looks spanning the group's different musical eras, featuring aesthetics inspired by their viral track Gnarly, their smash-hit Gabriella, and Gameboy.
KATSEYE Dance Animations and The Block Q&A Session
Building up the excitement, the DTI team recently dropped a fun 28-second teaser clip featuring the group's Roblox avatars performing the signature Gnarly dance. While not officially confirmed yet, players are crossing their fingers for animation packs featuring these official KATSEYE dance moves to use on the catwalk. Before the main runway opens, fans can also hang out and participate in an interactive Q&A session with the group over at The Block virtual club, as per Pink Towe Games.
Since there is no official word on how long the event will last, players are highly encouraged to log in right at launch to secure exclusive free rewards before they potentially become limited items. You don't need any special promo codes for the event just yet, but you can prepare for the weekend right now by redeeming active DTI codes like 2YEARS in the in-game handbag menu for extra items and by watching official streams to earn bonus wing accessories.

DTI
This collaboration arrives at a monumental time for both the developers and the artists. Since its late 2023 debut, Dress to Impress has dominated the Roblox platform with its addictive fashion-voting mechanics. Players have immense creative freedom to mix clothing, makeup, hairstyles, patterns, and poses to fit a theme before the lobby votes on the winner. The game recently swept the 2024 Roblox Innovation Awards, taking home the Builderman Choice of Excellence and Best New Experience trophies.
The game is also no stranger to star power, having previously hosted massive collaborations with Charli XCX's Bratz theme, Wicked-themed Glinda and Elphaba content, and even Lady Gaga herself logging in to play. Even bigger, DTI is rapidly approaching an incredible milestone of 10 billion total visits, for which developers have teased that "something special" is in the works, as per Gosugamers.
Meanwhile, KATSEYE has taken the world by storm since their formation in June 2024. Created by entertainment giant HYBE, the home of massive K-pop acts like BTS and TXT, the group has quickly found success in the English-language market. By blending K-pop flair into their concepts and performances with global pop appeal, the group climbed the charts with hits like Gnarly and Gabriella and recently took the stage to perform their new song Pinky Up at the Coachella music festival.
