Ubisoft will release its delayed H1 2025-26 financial results before markets open on Nov. 21, 2025, following a suspension of trading for its shares and bonds. The publisher requested the halt on Nov. 14 after postponing its earnings announcement, and only said that it needed more time to finalize its semester closing.
The unexpected delay drew industry scrutiny, as Ubisoft did not provide a reason for the shift. Trading on Euronext will resume once the results are published.
Ubisoft's Financial Results Delay Comes Amid Major Restructuring
The reporting shift aligns with significant internal changes at the company. Earlier this year, Ubisoft secured a $1.25B investment from Tencent to create a new subsidiary housing key franchises, including Rainbow Six, Assassin’s Creed, and Far Cry. The unit is valued at $4.3B, with Tencent holding a 25% stake and teams consolidated across Quebec, Barcelona, Sherbrooke, Montréal, Saguenay, and Sofia, with headquarters in France.
Subsequently, leadership changes followed the investment; Ubisoft appointed North America MD, Christophe Derennes, and former Owlient studio manager, Charlie Guillemot, as co-CEOs of the subsidiary in July. The company previously stated that the Tencent transaction was progressing and expected to close by the end of 2025, subject to regulatory approval.
With the new reporting date confirmed, the upcoming results will offer the first clear view of how Ubisoft is performing as it undergoes one of its largest structural transitions in recent years.
