HYBE’s newest K-pop group CORTIS launched their second mini-album, GREENGREEN, on Monday (May 4, 2026), generating record-breaking commercial dividends. The six-track EP which was released at 6 p.m. KST, around 2:30 p.m. IST, is positioned to be another success like their debut venture, COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES.
CORTIS’ All-Member Creative Control Fueled Early Demand
The five member group composed of Martin, James, Ju-hoon, Seong-hyeon, and Keon-ho, have reportedly doubled down on their “young creator crew” label. According to The Korea Herald, all of them have shared credits across music production, choreography, and visual content.
The market anticipation for their album reached a high, when the album distributors, YG Plus and Universal Records, noted that GREENGREEN gained 2,397,188 preorders (data as of April 30). This makes GREENGREEN, CORTIS’ second successive double-million-seller certification within immediate reach. On Spotify, the album garnered 1,033,600 pre-saves according to the Korea Times, thus pushing GREENGREEN to the No. 2 of the platform's Global Countdown Chart.
REDRED Ignited Pre-Release Momentum
GREENGREEN’s promotional campaign’s initial momentum was sparked by their lead single, REDRED, which came as a pre-release on April 20. Notably, green in their album represents their professional ambitions, while red showcases the ideas they intentionally distance themselves from.
The track rapidly entered Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global chart at No. 103 for the week of April 24. It then eventually climbed to No. 98, while maintaining a 12-day streak on the daily global chart as of Saturday (May 2, 2026).
GREENGREEN’s Six-Track EP Maps CORTIS’ Identity and Ambition
The EP’s full track list includes six songs that focus on themes of domesticity and professional friction. The titles of the song are given below:

Reportedly, TNT gives off a high-octane energy, ACAI is inspired by the members' favorite food. On the other hand, Blue Lips, a track penned by group leader Martin during his trainee years, will depict the emotional scars of chasing a dream.

Selective MV Rollout, Global Launch Event Planned for CORTIS’ Latest Release
Interestingly, CORTIS plans to release music videos for only five out of six tracks. Teasers for TNT, ACAI, Wassup, and Blue Lips are already out, showcasing a glimpse of the group’s self-directed visual identity. Furthermore, to mark GREENGREEN’s launch, the group will host a GREENGREEN Release Party at 08:00 p.m. KST, May 4, 2026. The event will take place at S-Factory in Seoul’s Seongdong District, featuring live performances of all songs and will be simultaneously livestreamed globally through HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel and Weverse.
