Highlights

  • Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle still lacks an official streaming release date nearly a year after its theatrical debut.
  • While major OTT platforms already host parts of the franchise, no company has announced international streaming plans.
  • On the other hand, Japan is getting an exclusive Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Blu-ray and DVD launch on July 29, 2026.

Nearly a year after its theatrical debut, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle does not have an official streaming release date, despite the domestic Blu-ray and DVD release in Japan. The Japan-exclusive Infinity Castle physical media is scheduled for July 29, which deprives the franchise’s fans across the international market.

The July date lands roughly 376 days after Infinity Castle’s theatrical debut in Japan on July 18, 2025. Back in April, the Demon Slayer franchise confirmed the Blu-ray and DVD release through its official X account; however, as of June 23, no announcement for an international release has been confirmed.

In September 2025, Crunchyroll executive vice president of global commerce Mitchel Berger told Popverse that the film won’t be coming on streaming in 2025, raising speculations for a 2026 streaming release. Later, the film was re-released across global key markets in early 2026.

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle recently had a limited screening across Japanese theaters, from June 12 to June 18. However, the absence of a streaming update has fueled speculation among fans, particularly as the franchise prepares for future installments of the trilogy.
