  • Backed by HYBE, the group is solidifying its U.S. chart presence, led by single Animal, which recently climbed to No. 24 on the Hot 100 chart.
  • The promotional push comes amidst an upcoming September tour as sixth member Manon remains on an extended hiatus.

KATSEYE is all set to grace the stage on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on August 12, to potentially amplify the August 14 release of their brand new EP, WILD. Notably, the pre-released track from the album, which is also co-written by Ed Sheeran, Animal, is already maintaining a high streaming momentum on Billboard Hot 100, ranking at No. 24.

The Jimmy Fallon show is set to air on 11:35 p.m. ET/PT (about 9:05 a.m./12:05 p.m. IST next day) on NBC before it is streamed on Peacock the following day. Although, this will mark KATSEYE’s second appearance on the show, since February 4, 2026, its latest broadcast will show their first-ever late-night musical performance, where Animal, may potentially be performed alongside hit songs like Pinky Up, which was released four months ago.

KATSEYE Climbs Billboard Charts Before New EP Launch

As per latest Billboard data for the week ending on August 8, KATSEYE has secured the No. 17 position on Artist 100 chart marking its 61st week on the tally. The girl group outpaced HYBE’s own creative giant BTS (No. 25), as well as JENNIE of BLACKPINK (No. 54), who is included as a solo artist. The group’s earlier entries, Beautiful Chaos and SIS (Soft Is Strong), both sustained on the Billboard 200, indicating robust consumer retention across multiple projects.

Additionally, KATSEYE’s joint venture featuring labelmates LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT, ICONIC BY MISTAKE, logged its seventh consecutive week on the Hot 100 at No. 76 after clearing 100 million streams across Spotify and YouTube. According to Billboard Korea, the track continues to hold strong across the Global 200 and UK Official Singles Chart.

With such robust chart performance and a prime-time broadcast slot, KATSEYE has emerged to be one of HYBE's most visible global acts. The group's expanding reach also reflects how HYBE is leveraging them to connect its Korean entertainment framework with North American consumers, while expanding the market share beyond usual K-pop audiences.

HYBE Eyes U.S. Growth With Wildworld Tour

The commercial rollout comes with a tour kick off in September. The multi-city concert run titled as, Wildworld Tour, will have only five members, namely, Megan, Yoonchae, Lara, Daniela, and Sophia. Notably, sixth member Manon has remained on hiatus since February due to her health concerns. Although the management has not confirmed a dedicated date for her return, she remains a part of the group’s docu-film KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS, as confirmed by the members in a LA-based special screening.

By maintaining its broadcast appeal and tour commitments despite having a reduced lineup, HYBE is indicating that the commercial schedule is being heavily prioritized. As the coming quarters near, the group is focused on further fortifying its foothold in the U.S. market via a steady pipeline of innovative releases.
