Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 Reveals Culling Game Part 2 Visual

Jujutsu Kaisen season 4 has received a new teaser visual for The Culling Game Part 2, as MAPPA continues work on the next stage of the anime adaptation. The visual was unveiled on Aug 29, 2026, at Jujutsu Fest 2026 in Japan, which celebrates the anime’s fifth anniversary.

The official Jujutsu Kaisen account also posted the visual on X, while the franchise website confirms that season 4 is in production. No premiere date has been announced.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 Continues the Culling Game

The announcement follows the Season 4 teaser released in June 2026. Its promotional material features Sukuna saying, “Do you remember? I told you that you’d get to see something interesting.”

The next part will continue the Culling Game storyline following season 3, which aired from January 2026.

Takeru Sato, previously an assistant director on season 3, is directing, with Shota Goshozono serving as chief director. Hiroshi Seko remains on series composition, joined by character designers Yosuke Yajima, Hiromi Niwa, and Sota Yamazaki. Yoshimasa Terui is composing the music.

Jujutsu Kaisen Franchise Expands Beyond the Main Anime

Gege Akutami’s manga concluded in September 2024 after a six-and-a-half-year run, spanning 30 volumes. It has surpassed 150M copies in worldwide circulation, including digital editions. Volumes 29 and 30 were released together on Dec 25, 2024, while VIZ Media handles the English license.

The franchise’s 2025 theatrical releases included Hidden Inventory/Premature Death and a return of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which earned ¥26.5B (~$166M USD) worldwide. Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution followed in November 2025, combining the Shibuya Incident special edit with the opening episodes of season 3.

The franchise also launched Jujutsu Kaisen ≡ (Modulo) in Weekly Shonen Jump in September 2025. Written by Akutami and illustrated by Yuji Iwasaki, the short-term spin-off ended with its third volume in May 2026 and later received an animated trailer.

Crunchyroll streams the three TV seasons and Jujutsu Kaisen 0, while the franchise also extends into games such as Phantom Parade and Cursed Clash, as well as the Jujutsu Kaisen The Stage stage-play adaptation. With season 4 now in production, the anime remains focused on completing the story that began with Yuji Itadori’s encounter with Sukuna and the jujutsu world.
