KATSEYE’s third EP, Wild is all set to be launched on Aug 14, 2026 alongside a listening party scheduled at Khar Social in Mumbai featuring curated fan activities and exclusive giveaways. Notably, the event's promotional posts on Instagram initially tagged the official accounts of both KATSEYE and HYBE India, however, they were later removed.
KATSEYE Navigates Member Hiatuses Ahead of September Tour
This Indian fan activation comes amidst a period of operational transition for the America-based act. KATSEYE is currently operating as a four-member act following group leader Sophia Laforteza, and fellow member Manon Bannerman’s health hiatus. Although HYBE and Geffen did not confirm anything officially about Mannon, it is reported that Laforteza's status will be re-evaluated in September, the month when the group’s tour schedule will kick off in Dublin, Ireland.
KATSEYE Debuts ‘Animal’ on Jimmy Fallon Show Amid U.K. Charts Rise
Despite the reduced lineup, the other members Lara Raj, Daniela Avanzini, Megan Skiendiel, and Yoonchae Jeung made their performance debut on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Aug 12, 2026. The group notably performed Animal, co-written by Ed Sheeran, which had earlier debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard Global 200.
Animal also climbed 11 spots to No. 13 in the U.K. Official Streaming chart this week, surpassing the group's previous peak of No. 21 set by Pinky Up. The single simultaneously holds No. 18 on the U.K. Official Singles chart.
KATSEYE Expands Global Promotion Across Screens and Markets
The multi-channel promotional push also includes the theatrical release of KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS, a documentary film showcasing their journey since The Debut: Dream Academy days. By pairing global broadcast appearances with cinema releases alongside domestic events in regional markets like the Mumbai listening party in India, the group appears to be aiming for streaming sustenance across the world.
