Highlights

  • Infinity Nikki version 2.0 update launches as the game nears $70M in mobile revenue.
  • The Infinity Nikki 2.0 update adds new locations, traversal abilities, control changes, and visual upgrades.
  • The Infinity Nikki new update arrives as the game continues to lag behind Love and Deepspace in revenue.

Infinity Nikki by Infold Games (InFold Pte. Ltd.) launched its major version 2.0 update, "Terra's Call," on Nov. 25, 2025, around one week before the game’s first anniversary. The open-world fashion RPG, released on Dec. 5, 2024, has generated $69.9M on the App Store and Google Play to date, according to AppMagic estimates.

The update is presented as the series’ most expansive shift yet, introducing new locations, traversal systems, and revised gameplay features. Infinity Nikki has also surpassed Love Nikki’s first-year mobile revenue, although Love Nikki’s performance reflected its China-only release.

Infinity Nikki 2.0 Update Arrives Amid Mixed Revenue Trends

Infinity Nikki earned $14M in its Dec. 2024 launch month, before experiencing six consecutive months of decline. Revenue recovered in July 2025, helping it secure the series’ second-best first-year mobile total at $69.9M, behind Shining Nikki ($103.2M) and above Love Nikki ($49.7M).

In China alone, the game has generated $43.9M, with overall earnings higher when accounting for PC, PS5, and alternative Chinese storefronts.

Despite the update and brand recognition, Infinity Nikki remains behind Infold Games’ breakout 2024 hit Love and Deepspace, which recorded $411M in its first year.

Infinity Nikki Version 2.0 Introduces New Exploration Tools

Infinity Nikki 2.0 reimagines Miraland with Elderwood Forest, Spira, and new traversal abilities such as low-gravity movement, grappling, and gigantification, all aimed at expanding exploration and player freedom.

The update also includes control layout adjustments across platforms. On mobile, the Ring, the Starbell, and the Ability Plus buttons have been resized, and a dedicated Archery button has been added.

Visual upgrades include improved lighting effects, fog rendering, and more detailed cloud simulation. Mobile players can activate Ultra Mode for sharper distant shadows. Over 20K new sound samples were recorded for this update, including location-specific bird calls.

Infinity Nikki’s first-year development also included the introduction of online multiplayer and co-op modes such as ‘Bubble Trails’ and ‘Bubble Escort.’ Whether Infinity Nikki version 2.0 accelerates the title’s position in the franchise will become clear with time, but the update reflects Infold’s ongoing investment in expanding the Nikki series through open-world design and cross-platform support.
