Nintendo is expanding its marketing for Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave beyond its latest Direct presentation. The apps offer exclusive music, daily updates, and themed experiences tied to the upcoming release.
Nintendo's Mobile Ecosystem Supports Fire Emblem Launch
Nintendo Music released 10 tracks from the game's soundtrack immediately after the Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave direct. Nintendo Switch Online members can access around 30 minutes of music ahead of launch. The Nintendo Today app also introduced a Fire Emblem theme. It features rotating artwork from across the series and a calendar inspired by Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
The app provides daily character profiles, story details, and gameplay previews. It also helps Fire Emblem Heroes players track upcoming gacha banners and events.
Nintendo has previously described its mobile games as marketing tools. Even so, Fire Emblem Heroes has grown into a billion-dollar title and often introduces characters from new mainline games around launch.
Nintendo Highlights Gameplay Ahead of Release
Nintendo stated that the new game combines strategic battles with four playable hero storylines. Players can revisit key decisions using Fortuna's time-traveling powers. They can also explore Dagsion, complete quests, recruit allies, clear dungeons, and develop units through multiple class paths.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is now available for pre-order, exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo is also releasing the Dagdan Collection, which includes a SteelBook, character art cards, a map, and an artbook.
With exclusive app content and ongoing updates, Nintendo is turning its mobile services into an extension of the game's launch campaign.
