Microsoft has confirmed that 19 titles will join Xbox Game Pass across PC, console, and cloud between April 7 and April 23, 2026. The update includes Replaced, Hades II, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare among the additions. Five games, including Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V), will leave the service on April 15.

The lineup spans first-party additions, third-party releases, and indie titles distributed across multiple subscription tiers.

Meanwhile, Hades II headlines the April lineup after previously launching in version 1.0 on Sept. 25, 2025, for PC and Nintendo Switch platforms, following an earlier Early Access period. The sequel expands to Xbox and PlayStation on April 14, 2026, with day-one availability on Game Pass tiers.

The PC version launched at $29.99 USD and holds a 94.32% positive rating from roughly 116K Steam reviews, with an all-time peak of 112,947 players on SteamDB. Industry reviews also called it ambitious and one of the most satisfying roguelite experiences, while noting a reduced narrative impact.

The update arrives as Sony continues to promote its platform pipeline through State of Play broadcasts, with the February 2026 showcase featuring a mix of first and third-party announcements. These included a reported God of War trilogy remake, Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2, and new titles such as Control: Resonant.

The presentation highlighted Sony’s use of showcase-driven reveals alongside subscription updates as platform holders compete for player attention.
