Bushiroad, Inc. has unveiled a new ‘Fairy Visual’ for BanG Dream! YUME∞MITA following the broadcast of Episode 5. Alongside the artwork, the company has also released the anime’s third promotional video (PV) and redesigned YUME∞MITA’s official website with darker visuals centered on the enigmatic character Viola, voiced by Kaede Hondo.
The newly released visual places Viola at the forefront, depicting the antagonist looming over the members of Mugendai MewType. MewTypes appear as miniature figures seemingly under her control; what her stance is with them remains unclear.

The accompanying PV compiles scenes from episodes 1 to 5, highlighting Viola’s growing influence in the story, rather than introducing new scenes. It also showcases voice actor Hondo’s performance across the character’s shifting emotional range.
Bushiroad also updated the BanG Dream! YUME∞MITA’s official website to match the newly revealed Fairy Visual, replacing its previous design with a darker aesthetic. Overall, these latest promotional campaigns suggest a seemingly darker narrative tied to Viola.
BanG Dream! YUME∞MITA Takes a Darker Turn as the Story Nears its Midpoint
YUME∞MITA premiered on July 2, 2026, on Tokyo MX, with its first three episodes airing back-to-back. New episodes are currently airing on Thursdays at 7 am PT and 10 am ET on Crunchyroll with English subtitles, alongside the Muse Asia YouTube Channel in Southeast Asia.
The series follows Mugendai MewType (aka Yumemita), a band assembled abruptly and thrown into a debut before its members are ready to function as a group. Mugendai MewType comprises vocalist Arale Nakamachi, guitarists Nonoka Miyanaga and Ritsu Minetsuki, keyboardist Miyako Fuji, and DJ Yuno Sengoku.
BanG Dream! YUME∞MITA serves as the newest television anime in Bushiroad’s multimedia music franchise and follows BanG Dream! Ave Mujica, one of 2025’s most discussed original anime titles.
Bushiroad Expands BanG Dream! Roadmap Beyond YUME∞MITA
The Fairy Visual reveals lands amidst Bushiroad’s broader push across the BanG Dream! franchise. The company confirmed that BanG Dream! celebrated its 11th anniversary in February 2026 and is currently streaming the 52-episode mini anime GANSO! BanG Dream Chan.
Additionally, a sequel film, Ave Mujica - prima aurora - is currently in development with a planned Fall 2026 release. prima aurora will function as a sequel to BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!! and BanG Dream! Ave Mujica, and will be followed by a sequel TV anime in January 2027.
Separately, a YUME∞MITA manga spinoff, Arale∞Arabu-ration, illustrated by Kuunerin, is running alongside the anime. Bushiroad is also setting up the release of a new video game, BanG Dream! Our Notes, with publisher bilibili.
Since BanG Dream!‘s debut in 2017, the franchise has evolved beyond TV anime into one of Japan’s largest mixed-media music projects. The Fairy Visual, promotional video, and website redesign signal that Bushiroad is accelerating promotional efforts as BanG Dream! YUME∞MITA reaches a pivotal point in its broadcast. Together, these releases point to a franchise leaning on near-simultaneous multimedia drops, anime, manga, mobile gaming, and film to keep its audience engaged across formats.
