KPop Demon Hunters is crossing over with Magic: The Gathering through a new Secret Lair collection based on characters, relationships, and story moments from the Netflix film. Secret Lair x KPop Demon Hunters: How It’s Done will be available in October 2026, as part of the Secret Lair: Corn Maze Superdrop.
The collaboration does not introduce a separate KPop Demon Hunters card set. Instead, Wizards of the Coast has selected seven existing Magic: The Gathering cards and given them artwork and thematic treatments based on HUNTR/X, the Saja Boys, and the film's supernatural conflict.
The collection's title references HUNTR/X's song How It’s Done.
KPop Demon Hunters Magic Cards Recall Significant Film Moments
The KPop Demon Hunters Secret Lair uses existing Magic: The Gathering cards, each marked SLD EN and assigned a collector number from R 2826 to R 2832.
- Dawn’s Truce, R 2826: Rumi's final journey is represented through the card's artwork. The two-mana instant gives you and permanents you control hexproof until end of turn. Its Gift ability can also give those permanents indestructible.
- Unbreakable Formation, R 2827: The artwork represents Mira, Rumi, and Zoey's friendship and HUNTR/X. The two-mana instant gives your creatures indestructible until end of turn. If cast during your main phase, they also receive +1/+1 counters and vigilance.
- Freed from the Real, R 2828: Rumi and Jinu appear together in the moonlight. The two-mana Aura can tap or untap its enchanted creature by paying blue mana. It includes Rumi's quote: “That’s the funny thing about hope. Nobody else gets to decide if you feel it. That choice belongs to you.”
- Swan Song, R 2829: Sussie, the three-eyed bird wearing a traditional Korean hat, is featured on the blue instant. It counters an enchantment, instant, or sorcery, and gives its controller a 2/2 blue Bird token with flying. The card also uses Sussie's “SKWAAAAAAAAAAK!”
- Demonic Counsel, R 2830: The artwork references Jinu trying to convince Rumi to accept her demon side. The one-mana sorcery searches for a Demon card and puts it into your hand. With Delirium, it can instead search for any card. It features Gwi-Ma's line: “Don’t think you can escape . . . what you are.”
- Tempt with Immortality, R 2831: Jinu's pact with Gwi-Ma and his service to the demon king inform the artwork. The four-mana sorcery returns a creature from a graveyard to the battlefield and lets opponents make the same choice, potentially returning additional creatures.
- Underworld Breach, R 2832: Rumi's demonic awakening and the weakened Honmoon following the Saja Boys' manipulation are represented here. The one-mana enchantment gives nonland cards in graveyards escape, with the escape cost requiring three other cards to be exiled. It is sacrificed at the beginning of the end step.
The cards feature artwork by Scott Watanabe and Helen Chen, with the supplied listings also carrying Netflix copyright/trademark and © 2026 Wizards attribution where specified.
