  • BLACKPINK’s Lisa reportedly has terminated her touring arrangement with Wasserman Music, indicating a shift in her solo live performance plans.
  • Founder Casey Wasserman is under fire over resurfacing ties to Epstein files, sparking talent departures from the firm.
  • Despite this Lisa continues to achieve tremendous commercial results with her group BLACKPINK, with its latest EP Deadline.

Lisa, a.k.a Lalisa Manoban, a Thai rapper and member of K-pop phenomenon BLACKPINK, has allegedly terminated her touring contract with U.S. talent agency Wasserman Music. According to entertainment news feeds and social platforms, the removal of the organization from her global tour management announcement is linked to the latest pushback against Wasserman's leadership. However, the news has not been officially confirmed by either party.

Lisa’s Touring Deal Halts Amid Leadership Crisis

Lisa originally partnered with Wasserman Music in late 2025 to handle global touring and live performance management via her own management firm, LLOUD, after her solo debut activities. While this arrangement had spurred rumors about a possible solo global tour following BLACKPINK's Deadline tour, the alleged termination indicates a shift in her plans in line with a high-profile crisis at Wasserman Music.

According to industry reports, Casey Wasserman, a well-known personality in the music industry and the creator of Wasserman Music, found himself under significant scrutiny following the early 2026 publication of records related to the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The disclosed documents revealed 2003 messages exchanged via email between Wasserman and Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein's convicted accomplice, eliciting a fast and high-profile reaction from within the agency's highest ranks. Prominent talents, including Chappell Roan and Orville Peck, have already officially parted ways or separated themselves from the organization, indicating a seismic change in talent representation in which past associations now have swift, career-altering effects.

In response to industry criticism, Wasserman has revealed plans to sell his self-titled firm and relinquish day-to-day control. The majority investor, Providence Equity Partners, said it will continue to support the company's operations during the changeover. The company's music section has already removed public artist lists as part of the reorganization process.

Analysts have previously projected Casey Wasserman's personal net worth at roughly $750 million USD, partly fueled by his investment in the agency and other entertainment holdings. Furthermore, according to different industry sources, Wasserman's broader sports, entertainment, and talent division is estimated to be valued more than $1 billion, with yearly revenue expected to exceed $1B and EBITDA surpassing $100M.

BLACKPINK’s Momentum Remains Intact

The shift for Lisa comes at a time when BLACKPINK is at its commercial high. The Deadline EP, launched in Feb 2026, is the group's first full-length project in almost three years, and comes after a global stadium tour of the same name which ended in Jan 2026. Streaming and social metrics for BLACKPINK continue to be strong with JUMP, the pre-released track, ranking amongst the top K-pop worldwide Spotify debuts of 2025. Notably, the song received over 7 million streams in its first week.

Individually, Lisa's reach continues to grow with solo music releases, acting ventures, and big fashion collaborations, cementing her status as one of K-pop's most bankable celebrities in the world. Any changes to her touring representation indicate a new calibration rather than retreat, as she navigates an evolving agency landscape while retaining commercial momentum.
