Which PC Esports Games Have Mobile Versions in 2025?
Publishers are launching mobile versions of top esports titles to tap into mobile-first regions.
Mobile ports retain core gameplay, making competitive titles more accessible to low-end device users.
India, Southeast Asia, and Latin America are key markets driving this mobile esports expansion.
A growing number of publishers are launching mobile editions of their well-known PC and console esports games. This strategy aims to engage a broader audience that primarily uses mobile devices in areas such as India, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. Although these mobile versions might not be exact replicas of their PC and console originals, they maintain gameplay mechanics and provide a comparable experience for players who lack high-end equipment.
Key Esports Games with Mobile Versions in 2025
1: Call of Duty: Mobile

Activision
Call of Duty is a popular first-person multiplayer franchise that is known for its casual and competitive game modes. It has established a presence in the esports space because of the World of Warzone and Call of Duty League Championships. Publisher Activision released Call of Duty: Mobile in 2019, and it quickly developed an esports community of its own.
The game is not a direct port, but it shares many weapons and maps from the PC and console versions of Call of Duty. Activision supports the game’s esports scene with an international esports circuit with million-dollar prize pools every year.
2. Rocket League Sideswipe

Psyonix
Rocket League is a popular soccer-inspired esports title by developer Psyonix. The developers released Rocket League Sideswipe in 2021, a 2D side-view version of the popular esports title. It is not a direct port, and it features gameplay elements that are optimized for mobile users.
The game did not get the same level of support for esports events from Psyonix, but it developed a small tournament scene at the time. Currently, the game does not have an esports presence like its PC and console counterparts, but it continues to be a popular mobile gaming title.
3. Valorant Mobile (Beta)

Riot Games
Valorant is a popular competitive first-person shooter developed by Riot Games. It is one of the biggest esports titles in the world, and the game just received a beta of the mobile version on June 12, 2025. Riot Games is currently testing Valorant Mobile in China, and it will expand to other regions in the future.
Riot is already working on creating an esports scene for the game by hosting offline LAN events in Shanghai in June 2025. The publisher plans to bring the competitive 5v5 experience from PC to mobile users. The game will not feature crossplay, and it will be a separate experience from its PC counterpart.
4. League of Legends: Wild Rift

Riot Games
Wild Rift is a mobile version of League of Legends, a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) by Riot Games. The game was built from the ground up to enable shorter matches while retaining the core mechanics from its PC counterpart. Riot Games supports Wild Rift esports through regional and international events.
The game has a notable esports scene in the Asia-Pacific region, which is where Riot spends most of its resources for promoting the game’s competitions. Third-party tournament organizers are also active in the game’s esports scene with small-to-medium scale events.
5. PUBG Mobile

Krafton
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile is a standalone mobile game inspired by PUBG, a battle royale game that helped popularize the genre in the 2010s. PUBG Mobile is optimized for mobile devices and retains all of the gameplay mechanics of its PC and console counterparts.
PUBG Mobile’s 2024 global championship had a prize pool of $3 million. It surpassed PUBG PC’s prize pool, which was $1.78 million. PUBG’s Krafton Studios continues to support both the mobile and non-mobile ecosystems.
Other publishers have also attempted to bring mobile esports to their PC and console titles. Apex Legends Mobile was EA’s unsuccessful attempt at replicating the success of its PC and console counterpart. Ubisoft is currently working on releasing Rainbow Six Mobile, which is an Android and iOS version of the popular tactical shooter Rainbow Six: Siege.
