Red Bull Home Ground 2025, held from Nov. 13-16, has delivered one of the tournament’s strongest commercial outcomes to date, with viewership peaking at 185,811 concurrent viewers. On Nov. 16, the G2 Esports versus NRG grand final match also peaked at 110,271 viewers. 

The tournament also marks G2's second win of the Home Ground trophy, cementing their position as one of VALORANT’s most recognizable and marketable teams. Driven by famous teams, such as NRG, G2, ZETA Division, and the like, the Home Ground trophy became a high-engagement event cycle that Red Bull and Riot Games have been trying to scale into a dependable, mid-tier international property.

Viewership Data Underlines Event Growth

Although Home Ground 2025 saw steady engagement throughout its four-day run, the spike came during the second day. On Nov. 14, high-profile teams, G2, and NRG clashed against ZETA in lower and upper bracket matches, which drew the most audience.

The 4-day event had an average viewership of ~82K, and the total watching hours surpassed 2M. Red Bull took the initiative to cater the program to the maximum audience, with simultaneous broadcast across Twitch, YouTube Live, TikTok, Kick, SOOP Korea, and SOOP Global.

Strong teams, clear narratives, and production consistency elevated the tournament as a high-visibility property. The Media value, which determines the success and reach of any event, rose to $1.4B for Red Bull Home Ground 2025, marking a new milestone for the tournament. 

Since Red Bull debuted the tournament in 2021, it has offered a showcase of high-profile battles, among some of the most prominent teams from the Valorant esports ecosystem. The showcase took place at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York with a $100K prize pool.
