Highlights

Take-Two Interactive published net bookings of $1.76 billion USD for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, outperforming expectations. The publisher described the results as “outstanding.” Results were driven by flagship franchises, mobile titles, and expanding live-service revenue. Recurrent consumer spending grew 23% year-over-year (YoY), accounting for 76% of total net bookings.
The publisher raised its full-year forecast, and now expects net bookings between $6.65B to $6.7B. “At the midpoint, our revised Net Bookings forecast is approximately $725 million above the initial outlook we provided in May 2025, which reflects the creative passion, hard work, and consistent execution of our teams,” the company stated.
Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) sold another 5M units during the quarter, pushing lifetime sales past 225M copies worldwide.
Recurrent consumer spending tied to the franchise increased 27%, driven by GTA Online’s ‘A Safehouse in the Hills’ update, which reintroduced protagonist Michael De Santa. GTA+ subscriptions also continued to scale, with membership levels doubling YoY.
GTA VI Leads Take-Two Pipeline as Mobile and Sports Scale
Take-Two reiterated that Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) will launch Nov 19, 2026, following prior delays and reported unrest at Rockstar. Leadership mentioned that the title will headline a pipeline expected to drive future bookings growth.
Outside GTA, Red Dead Redemption 2 has now sold more than 82M units globally.
Mobile remained a key contributor following the Zynga acquisition in May 2022. Toon Blast grew 43% YoY and surpassed $3B in lifetime net bookings. Meanwhile, Empires & Puzzles grew by 11%, while Words With Friends rose 6%.
In sports simulations, NBA 2K26 sold around 8M units worldwide, a high single-digit increase over NBA 2K25. The franchise is on track to deliver its highest annual net bookings and recurrent consumer spending.
“Our execution throughout Fiscal 2026 has been extraordinary and we are highly confident as we approach Fiscal 2027,” CEO Strauss Zelnick said, adding that the year “promises to be groundbreaking” for both Take-Two and the broader industry. Altogether, Take-Two expects record net bookings in fiscal year (FY) 2027, supported by momentum in live services, mobile, and its upcoming release slate led by Grand Theft Auto VI.
