The massive energy of BTS’s sold-out ARIRANG World Tour isn't just filling stadiums across five continents, it's bolstering cultural influence as well. Amidst this excitement, educational tools like HYBE Edu’s 2021 Korean language kit are finding a fresh wave of attention.
Designed in collaboration with Cake X, the kit includes BTS in their TinyTAN forms, alongside an original character Bora. The kit's continued availability on major e-commerce platforms like Amazon highlights how the band’s fresh activities are rekindling interest in a product that they released years ago.

BTS as TinyTAN, official chibi-style animated characters created by Hybe/Big Hit Music based on the seven members of the global K-pop group BTS. Launched in 2019, the brand portrays the group members: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, as cute, relatable figures with magic-based storylines that convey messages of comfort and hope. What's Inside the BTS Language Learning Kits
The series’ top-tier offering, titled the Learn! Korean with BTS & TinyTAN bundle, includes a six-book set with BTS-themed traditional Korean gaming accessories, QR-coded video lessons, and an optical audio device called the MotiPen.
Notably, this device plays native voice clips recorded by band members when scanned across textbook text. The retail price of the item is $139.00 USD, as noted by Billboard, and the set comes with a mini-K-pop dictionary which includes idol-related terms and phrases. The product notably teaches the lessons using everyday Korean expressions and fan-focused vocabulary.
To capture distinct price points across its global consumer base, the study kit also includes other variations. For instance, it has a four-book BTS package, which sells for $100.00 USD, and an animated, TinyTAN-branded edition, which is priced at $92.24 USD.
Both these sets offer multilingual audio capabilities and hardware-enabled pronunciation support in four languages: Korean, English, Japanese, and Spanish. Notably, the physical packages of these products include items like traditional Korean (Hangeul) keyboard stickers, flashcards, and practice workbooks.
Duolingo Data Shows Global Surge in Korean Language Learning
Data from language platform Duolingo indicates that the number of U.S. users studying Korean increased 22% in 2025 compared to 2024. This makes Korean the second most popular language on the service behind Chinese. This surge in consumer demand continues to be driven by other cross-media entertainment exports like the KPop Demon Hunters film, which has similarly sustained global demand for Korean culture and language products.
