Left Side: A member with long dark hair and bangs stands inside the pink letter 't' wearing a navy athletic top, denim layer, and patterned socks. Reclining along the top of the adjacent blue letter is a member with long light-blonde hair wearing a draped light grey tunic, patterned tights, and dark boots.

Center: A member with straight blonde hair stands prominently in a dark blue sports jersey with "28" on the chest and a gingham skirt. Below her, another member with a black hair bow rests her chin on her hand, wearing a white top and a dramatic off-white tulle skirt over light-wash jeans.

Right Side: Seated on the floor is a member in a bright red collared polo top and patterned shorts. Behind her stands a member in a vibrant, full-length lime-green dress. On the far right, a member in a navy zip-up jacket and distressed jeans crouches inside the curve of a giant light-blue letter 'e'.

Highlights

  • HYBE subsidiary ABD will debut seven-member act TUIDE on August 24 with the five-track EP TUNE & PLAY.
  • Pledis Entertainment founder Han Sung-soo is looking after the production, which includes members from South Korea, the U.S., the U.K., and Japan.
  • Ahead of its debut and digital marketing rollout, HYBE had a two-day private preview show in Seoul.

South Korean entertainment conglomerate HYBE will launch its newest girl group, TUIDE, on August 24, 2026. The seven-member act will debut with a five-track extended play, TUNE & PLAY, at 06:00 P.M. KST, making it the first commercial release from ABD.

TUIDE's launch is supposedly amongst one of the most important tangible outcomes of HYBE's recent investment cycle. The company spent heavily on reorganizing and developing new artist rosters in 2025, helping to lift annual revenue by 17.5% to ₩2.65 trillion (~ $1.84 billion USD) while reducing operating profit by 72.9% to ₩49.9B (~ $34.9M). The group's debut will mark the first commercial release from ABD, HYBE's newest label under its "multi-home, multi-genre" strategy.

ABD’s Organizational Structure & Executive Leadership

The ABD-led group is the latest addition to HYBE’s growing roster of female acts like LE SSERAFIM, the disputed NewJeans, and ILLIT, in addition to global joint ventures KATSEYE and SAINT SATINE. Launched in March 2026, the newest label ABD, is probably the only HYBE Music Group subsidiary that is dedicated fully to developing girl groups.

Notably, Noh Ji-won, ex-head of artist planning at Pledis Entertainment, is ABD’s CEO, while Pledis founder Han Sung-soo looks after the label's creative direction as executive producer. Interestingly, Han had been previously associated with artists like SEVENTEEN, After School, IZ*ONE, and TWS, for their production purposes.

TUIDE Debut: Full Lineup Revealed

The group’s lineup features seven members born between 2006 and 2011, from geographically diverse regions of South Korea, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan. The multinational approach is created to appeal to the global streaming audiences.

The names of the members are: Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Seah, and Yi Hani. Remarkably, Seoyeon is the younger sister of Jihyo, a member of JYP Entertainment’s flagship girl group TWICE, that recently concluded its sixth world tour, titled THIS IS FOR, with a final three-night encore in Seoul.

HYBE New Girl Group 2026: Pre-Launch Show and Commercial Rollout

Before its official streaming release, ABD’s TUIDE performed all five tracks from TUNE & PLAY at a two-day private event named, "TUIDE Exclusive Preview [Playground]." The shows were held on August 1 and August 2 at Layer11 studio in Mapo District, Seoul.

Digital promotion began on August 2 across official social media platforms. The label released promotional imagery and an introductory video featuring Korean, English, Japanese, and French vocal tracks over minimal beats. The early-stage performance allowed ABD to trigger excitement amongst people before expanding into global distribution.
