Re:ZERO Season 4 Release and 10th Anniversary Celebration Details

The production committee behind Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World has revealed that Re:ZERO season 4 will run for 19 episodes across two consecutive cours, starting from April 2026. Along with the schedule, new key visuals, and a new ending theme, Ender Ember, by the collaboration of MYTH & ROID and TK (Ling Tosite Sigure) was released.

As per the release schedule, the first cour, adapting the “Loss Arc,” will run for 11 episodes, starting on April 8.  “Recapture Arc” adaptations for the second cour, consisting of eight episodes, will start airing on August 12.

To make the upcoming series widely available, the fourth season will air across 23 stations nationwide, including AT-X, Sun TV, and TOKYO MX. Sony’s Crunchyroll has announced that it will stream Re:ZERO season 4. However, the platform is yet to announce domestic and international streaming dates and formats.

The announcement arrives as the Re:ZERO anime approaches its 10th anniversary, with KADOKAWA and partners rolling out a series of initiatives to celebrate the milestone. Over the years, Tappei Nagatsuki’s Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World has expanded into light novels, manga, anime series, movies, and games, and has become one of the genre-defining Isekai franchises in the global anime market.

Re:ZERO Season 4 Narrative and Production

The series is known for following Subaru’s time-loop survival mechanics and evolving political conflicts in the fantasy kingdom of Lugunica. Re:ZERO season 4 will continue adapting the journey of Subaru Natsuki after the win at Priestella, in the previous season.

In the fourth season, they start the journey to Pleiades Watchtower, aiming to meet a sage named Shaula. The season adaptation is produced by White Fox, the animation studio that has handled the series since its debut in 2016.

Returning staff members include director Masahiro Shinohara, series composition writer Masahiro Yokotani, and character designer Haruka Sagawa. Nagatsuki will supervise the scenario composition.

10th Anniversary Campaign Expands Re:ZERO  Franchise Reach

To commemorate Re:ZERO's 10th Anniversary, the franchise is rolling out several promotional and audience-engagement initiatives. Japanese streaming platform ABEMA will launch a dedicated “Re:ZERO − Starting Life in Another World ABEMA Channel,” broadcasting all previous episodes and related programming from April 3.

The production committee also confirmed plans for exclusive merchandise releases and original goods at AnimeJapan 2026, one of the industry’s largest annual anime conventions. At the event, the committee will also host a special greeting event with three of the main characters from Re:ZERO (Rem, Ram, and Emilia).

Additional collaborations include a regional tourism partnership with Tottori Prefecture. Tottori Prefecture Governor Hirai Shinji has expressed his excitement about the upcoming collaboration while positioning it as an otherworldly experience.
