Four of the most popular Winter 2026 anime broadcast season, Jujutsu Kaisen season 3, Oshi no Ko season 3, Hell’s Paradise season 2, and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End season 2 are all entering the final quarter of their current streaming cycle. As of early March, roughly four episodes are remaining for each of JJK season 3, Oshi no Ko season 3, and Frieren season 2.

Hell’s Paradise season 2 has one more week of content than the others, with five episodes left in its 13-episode run. All four of these titles were released in January, as part of the Winter 2026 anime lineup on Netflix and Crunchyroll, in a region-specific schedule.

Jujutsu Kaisen will reportedly end its “Culling Game” arc part 1 on March 26, 2026. The series has been ranking on Netflix’s global Top 10, despite not streaming on Netflix U.S. and Canada. Meanwhile, Oshi no Ko season 3, which premiered January 14, is scheduled to end its 11-episode run around March 25.

Frieren, premiering January 16 with a 10-episode season, is also closing earlier than the other two, on March 20. Hell’s Paradise’s release schedule ends on April 5.

Along with JJK season 3, the other three titles have also been surfacing periodically in weekly Netflix global Top 10 charts.

Netflix Spring 2026 Anime Includes Major Titles

The current top Netflix anime titles are all franchised popular titles, which have been dominating the streaming platforms, including Netflix, since their initial release. Netflix’s spring 2026 anime lineup blends popular Netflix original series and continuation of licensed projects.

Netflix has a strong spring 2026 anime slate ready, including STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Dorohedoro season 2, BEASTARS final season part 2, and the second season of Devil May Cry. This confirmed lineup offers a mix of adventure, action, drama, and coming-of-age narratives, similar to Winter 2026’s series.

STEEL BALL RUN will premiere first in this lineup on March 19. It is based on the seventh story arc of Hirohiko Araki’s Japanese manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. BEASTARS final season part 2, based on Paru Itagaki’s manga, continues the narrative from Riz and Legoshi’s confrontation from the previous season. The series will release in March, but a specific date has yet to be announced.

Dorohedoro will come next, on April 1. Devil May Cry, the Adi Shankar series based on Capcom’s popular game franchise, will start streaming the second season on May 12. The previous season of this Netflix original anime received mixed reception.

Compared to the franchised titles in Winter, Netflix's Spring 2026 anime titles target a more niche audience with Netflix originals. This shift towards popular originals may impact Netflix’s position in the crowded anime streaming market.

Among the popular winter 2026 anime releases, Netflix did not stream either JJK season 3, Oshi no Ko season 3, Hell’s Paradise season 2, or Frieren season 2 globally. These titles are licensed by Crunchyroll or HIDIVE for international streaming, whereas Netflix mostly handles the Asia-Pacific streaming.
