PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers have until Aug 18, 2026, to play nine games before they leave the Game Catalog. The departing lineup features Unicorn Overlord, Dead Island 2, Earth Defense Force 6, Harold Halibut, and five other games.
These games will no longer be available through PlayStation Plus, meaning subscribers who want to keep playing will need to purchase them separately. Sony has not announced any additional removals so far.
PlayStation Plus August 2026: Games Leaving the Catalog
The following games are scheduled to leave the Game Catalog:
Outlook Respawn
Five of these titles were originally due to leave in July. They were Bomber Crew, Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, Röki, Onee Chanbara Origin, and Space Crew: Legendary Edition. Sony extended their availability until August, giving subscribers a few extra weeks.
New PS Plus Games Arrive as Older Titles Leave
The departures coincide with Sony's latest PlayStation Plus catalog refresh. Starting July 21, Extra and Premium subscribers can access the following:
- Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
- Rise of the Ronin
- Firefighting Simulator: Ignite
- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind
- Dying Light
- Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector
- Snow Bros. Wonderland
Premium-exclusive additions:
- Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy
- Indigo Prophecy
These additions are separate from PlayStation Plus Monthly Games, which are available to Essential, Extra, and Premium subscribers. The current lineup includes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, For the King II, and CrossCode, and can be claimed through Aug 3, 2026.
The August update reflects how PlayStation Plus continues to evolve. New games arrive every month. Older titles eventually leave as licensing agreements expire.
Subscribers interested in games such as Dead Island 2 or Harold Halibut have a limited window left before they rotate out of the catalog.
