Highlights

  • Techno Gamerz hits 50 million subscribers, becoming Asia’s first gaming creator to reach the mark.
  • His combined subscription base surpasses 70M subscribers and 16B views across four YouTube channels.
  • GTA V storytelling and horror titles drive top viewership, with several videos nearing or crossing 100M views.

Ujjwal Chaurasia, also known as Techno Gamerz, has crossed 50M subscribers on YouTube (YT). He is the first individual gaming creator from Asia to reach the milestone. The New Delhi-based creator now operates the most subscribed dedicated gaming channel on the continent, and marks a major benchmark in regional gaming content growth.

The milestone caps a growth journey that began on Aug 13, 2017. At the time, while studying in Class XI, he was posting mobile gaming tutorials using his elder brother Ankit’s borrowed phone.

Early traction from one breakout upload pushed him to maintain a steady schedule. The channel reached 100K subscribers on Jan. 6, 2019, and crossed 10M in 2020.

By March 2025, Techno Gamerz's subscribers stood at 45.1M, making him India’s biggest individual YouTuber across categories at the time.

Techno Gamerz's 50 Million Subscribers Driven by GTA V Series and Multi-Channel Scale

With Techno Gamerz hitting 50M subscribers on the main channel, his combined reach across Techno Gamerz, Ujjwal, Ujjwal Shorts, and Techno now exceeds 70M subscribers, generating over 16B views.

The channel is best known for its GTA V gameplay series, where Chaurasia created original storylines using mods. The series spans more than 140 uploads, with each episode drawing over 5M views.

His catalog also includes Minecraft, PUBG Mobile, BGMI, Garena: Free Fire, Red Dead Redemption 2, and some horror titles.

While Techno Gamerz is widely recognized for his GTA V storytelling series, several of the most-viewed uploads on his channel come from horror gameplay titles. Videos built around games such as Granny 3, Escape the Carnival of Terror, Choo-Choo Charles, and the Indian horror title Kamla have driven some of his highest individual view counts, with multiple uploads crossing the 100M mark.

Some of his most-viewed videos include:

  • GAME ON – UJJWAL X Sez On The Beat (Official Music Video) - 108M views
  • TRAIN ESCAPE FROM GRANNY'S HOUSE - 102M views
  • I FINALLY ESCAPED THE GRANNY HOUSE - 99M views
  • ESCAPE THE CARNIVAL OF TERROR - 69M views
  • THE END OF HORROR TRAIN | CHOO CHOO CHARLES GAMEPLAY #3 - 67M views

These titles highlight the scale of his horror content viewership alongside his flagship GTA V narrative series, reinforcing the diversity of content driving his channel’s audience growth.

YouTube ranked him fifth on its global Top 10 Gaming Streamers list in 2021, marking one of his earliest international recognitions. His global presence expanded further in 2024 when he became the only Indian gaming creator nominated at The Game Awards in Los Angeles. He was also featured as a playable in-game character introduced by SuperGaming.

Alongside these milestones, he has secured brand partnerships with Red Bull India, Nvidia, and ASUS, and is represented by influencer marketing agency OpraahFx.

In July 2025, he led Team Delhi AI Legends to victory at Samsung’s PlayGalaxy Cup Z Fold Edition, winning ₹2.4 lakh (~$2.6K USD). He has also served as a jury member at the Exhibit Tech Awards.

The milestone reflects the scale of India’s gaming creator economy and signals the expanding global reach of regional-language gaming content.
