Xbox Cloud Gaming Launch in India: Stream AAA Xbox Titles on any Device
By logging into the Xbox app or Xbox.com/play, Indian gamers with an active Game Pass Ultimate subscription can instantly access a growing library of cloud-enabled titles such as Forza Horizon 5 and Cricket 24. Supported devices range from Android and iOS smartphones, Windows PCs, Macs, Chromebooks, LG and Samsung smart TVs, to Amazon Fire TV and gaming handhelds like the upcoming Asus ROG Xbox Ally.
A compatible Bluetooth or USB controller, preferably Xbox Wireless or Sony DualSense, is required, with select games offering touchscreen or keyboard/mouse support, depending on the platform. Players should have a reliable internet connection, ideally 20Mbps or above, for smooth gameplay.
Xbox Cloud Gaming removes the barrier of costly consoles and powerful PCs, allowing India’s massive, digitally native gaming population to play high-tier games anytime, anywhere. It addresses the country’s mobile-first gaming habits while leveraging local data centers to minimize latency, providing competitive and immersive experiences.
The launch is expected to heat up India’s cloud gaming landscape, which will soon also see entrants like Nvidia GeForce Now and established competitors like OnePlay.
