As per data from industry tracker Chartmasters dated May 21, BTS’ fifth studio album has secured 10,183,000 cumulative EAS, solidifying its status as the most successful global music release of 2026.
Fueled by Total Global Streams, ARIRANG Attains 72K Daily EAS Pace
The Chartmasters dataset depicts a balanced commercial reach for BTS, where the group logged 5.43M studio album EAS alongside 4.49M streaming-driven EAS. Supported by more than 2.53 billion total global streams, the album continues to average over 25.4M streams daily. Nearly two months after its March 20 launch, ARIRANG showcased a rare market endurance than front-loaded fan consumption; although its latest single-day tracking recorded 45,180 EAS-equivalent units, its wider daily average remains above 72,000.

A 100M Spotify Debut and $500M Tour Projection
ARIRANG, named after the traditional Korean folk song, immediately penetrated multiple international markets, debuting in Top 10s in charts across the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Australia. On digital platforms, the album logged over 100M Spotify streams on Day 1, making ARIRANG the biggest album debut on the platform of the year. The album was notably one of the first K-pop acts to have the highest opening weeks ever recorded.

Billboard data further indicated that ARIRANG became the first album in history to place its entire soundtrack on the Billboard Global 200 for seven consecutive weeks. Physical consumption of the album matched its digital demand, with Reuters previously reporting that the group sold nearly 4M copies on the first day alone.
ARIRANG’s sustained commercial momentum is presently anchored into the group’s current world tour. Billboard Boxscore data forecasts that the ARIRANG stadium run will cross half a billion dollars, in total revenue by its end, and will make BTS one of the highest-grossing global live touring acts of 2026.
