Indian esports powerhouse S8UL has officially set its sights on global domination, signing the highly decorated PUBG PC roster, Team Question Mark (QM). This landmark move, announced on April 16, ensures S8UL will be fiercely represented at the upcoming Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. With the overall EWC running from July 6 to Aug 23 and boasting a staggering $75 million USD total prize pool, S8UL is positioning itself as a heavy hitter on the international stage.

The newly acquired EMEA squad from the CIS region brings an incredible track record and serious firepower to the Indian organization. Led by captain Roman Zinovev, widely known as "ADOUZ1E," the team features top-tier talents Andrey Ionov, Mansur Tsimpaev, Nikita Odobesku, and head coach Yermek Torebekov.

They are no strangers to the winner's podium, having claimed victory at the PUBG Continental Series 7 Europe in 2022, which netted them a ₹56 lakh prize, alongside a major win at the PUBG Global Series 8. The veteran squad also boasts a top-three finish at the PUBG Global Series 2 in 2023, a top-seven finish at the PUBG Global Championship 2022, and roughly $713,000 in total career earnings.

Their immediate target is the elite 24-team PUBG: Battlegrounds tournament at the EWC, scheduled to run from July 21 to July 26 with a dedicated $2M prize pool. S8UL co-founder Naman Mathur highlighted the strategic weight of this acquisition, stating that bringing the QM roster on board is a significant step as the organization strengthens its global esports presence. Mathur explained that PUBG remains one of the world's most competitive titles, and this squad has consistently proven itself against the absolute best.

S8UL's Expansion Strategy at Esports World Cup 2026

He emphasized that this move reflects S8UL's broader direction over the past year, focusing on building depth across rosters and competing consistently at the highest level. Team captain Zinovev echoed this optimism, calling the partnership a massive opportunity and noting that the team is heavily focused on battling through the qualifiers to deliver on their true potential.

This high-profile PC signing aligns with S8UL’s expansion as an elite Esports Foundation Club Partner, an honor they have secured for the second time. Meanwhile, fellow Indian organization Team GodLike makes its exciting debut in the program. At this year's festival, S8UL is dramatically scaling up its ambitions by participating to compete across 13 different gaming titles, a significant leap from last year.

Out of the 24 competing titles at the EWC, S8UL is targeting qualification pathways in heavyweight games like Fortnite, Honor of Kings, Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Battlegrounds Mobile India, Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, and Trackmania, as per IGN.

The winning momentum for the organization is already well underway this season. In other breaking news, S8UL Esports has just emerged victorious as the champions of the Valorant Challengers South Asia 2026 Split 1, taking home a handsome prize of ₹9 lakh and proving that their global push is backed by relentless regional dominance.
