Cold Snap will introduce a new Snowfall map condition, converting existing settings into winter-draped battlefields and potentially altering how players navigate future raids. The update also adds new quests, an updated Raider Deck, the game's version of a battle pass, and a limited-time event called Flickering Flames.

An Expedition reset window will begin immediately after the upgrade is released, from December 17 to 22, 2025. During this time, players can reset some progress in return for long-term rewards.
