A total of 53 content creators have launched Gallaxia, a player-owned gaming and entertainment studio aiming to redefine how games are created, distributed, and monetized. Announced this week, the initiative positions creators as long-term stakeholders rather than short-term promoters.
Gallaxia’s ownership model centers on Gallaxium Bars, limited digital assets that give participating creators a share of revenue across every game and product in the ecosystem.
The studio stated this structure is intended to merge creator influence, global distribution, and AAA development standards into a single framework.
Planet-X, a treasure-hunt shooter with daily real-world rewards, will serve as Gallaxia’s flagship title. The studio reports the game has already attracted 300K verified sign-ups and generated more than $500K in early sales, making it the first major test of the creator-driven model. Founding members include well-known gaming creators such as “Panda,” “Levinho,” and James Ashton, who bring large communities from PUBG Mobile, FPS titles, and mobile gaming content.
Gallaxia Builds its Platform on Creator Ownership and Early Planet-X Traction
Co-owner Panda said the group is “bringing the players,” noting that creators have spent years building communities and now want to create something those communities “can actually own and be proud of.” Levinho added that the project represents “a game for the players, built by the players,” while Ashton said the studio’s goal is to build the next major creator-powered platform.
The team plans to expand Gallaxia beyond Planet-X with future games and digital products tied to the same revenue-sharing structure. The studio aims to use community reach as a primary distribution engine.
Gallaxia’s debut underscores the growing momentum behind creator-led studios, a trend that could push traditional publishers to rethink how they approach community-building, monetization, and long-term engagement.
