AI-powered game creation startup GameByte has raised $1 million USD in a pre-seed funding round at a $10M valuation, according to reports from GAM3S.GG. The Istanbul-based company said the funding will be used to expand globally and scale its platform, which generates playable games and interactive ads from text prompts.
The round was led by Webrazzi GSYF, reflecting investor interest in AI tools that let mobile developers and smaller studios create playable content without traditional pipelines.
GameByte’s platform lets developers create playable games and ads from text prompts, which the company says are converted into functional game experiences using AI, helping reduce development complexity and speed up production for mobile-focused teams.
GameByte Plans Global Expansion of its AI Text-to-Game Platform
The company said the investment will support further system development and international rollout. “We are scaling GameByte as a platform that makes game creation as easy as writing a prompt and accessible to everyone,” the startup said in a statement, adding that it plans to open the platform to users worldwide.
The funding places GameByte within a growing AI-assisted game creation segment, where text-based tools are increasingly used to lower barriers for independent developers. This is alongside same-genre companies such as Inworld AI, which has raised over $100M and is valued at roughly $500M for its generative character-creation engine, as well as other startups applying AI to lower barriers in game creation.
With its focus on playable outputs and advertising formats, the startup is targeting practical use cases tied to mobile game development and marketing, as it looks to expand its presence beyond its home market.
