Honor of Kings (HOK) has launched HOK Plus 2.0 in India, marking its biggest update of 2026. The rollout introduces an INR 10 million rewards campaign, a new India-inspired hero, expanded creator initiatives, and a broader esports push in the country. Released on June 17, 2026, the update combines community-led content, player rewards, and competitive opportunities as the game expands its local ecosystem.

At the center of the update is the “Play to Earn” INR 10M giveaway, one of the largest player reward campaigns Honor of Kings has introduced in India.

The program spans gameplay, campus initiatives, content creation, and community participation. Through the in-game Treasure Hunt, players can win 40 smartphones and Amazon gift cards by downloading and playing the latest version of the game. Rewards will further expand during the June 27, 2026, Peak Day celebrations, which will also include token vouchers, exclusive collectibles, free heroes, and limited-time events.

“The Indian community has played a special role in shaping this update," stated Dean Huang, Producer of HOK, referencing player involvement in tournaments, content creation, and community-building.

Honor of Kings' Devara, and HOK Studio Expand India Creator Ecosystem

The headline gameplay addition is Devara, a new Clash Lane fighter inspired by Indian culture and traditions.

Built around thunder-powered combat, the hero combines burst damage with sustained frontline abilities. HOK earlier invited players to submit Hindi voice-line ideas for the character, with selected community entries now integrated into the final build. Veteran voice actor, Sanket Mhatre, voices the hero.

To support the launch, HOK will host offline Devara activations in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru.

HOK Studio is currently expanding with regional creator rankings, performance-based bonuses, and an advanced creator program. The company also confirmed a long-term collaboration with ‘ScoutOP,’ who has been named the game’s official esports ambassador in India.

Honor of Kings India: Campus Programs, Esports, and Gameplay Updates

On the esports front, Revenant XSpark will represent India at the 2026 Asian Games Esports Qualifiers in Kuala Lumpur from June 13 to 21. The team secured its spot after winning the National Esports Championship (NESC) 2026 LAN Finals in Pune.

Beyond esports, HOK will run campus ambassador programs, community activations, and tournaments across 32 colleges in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Guwahati from July to September. It will also host Devara-themed 1v1 competitions in 30 gaming cafés from June 19 to July 5, 2026.

HOK Plus 2.0 adds Lorion, Annette, and Florentino from Arena of Valor alongside the new Super Flow Brawl 2.0 mode. The update further improves the player experience with smaller downloads, smoother performance, improved onboarding, refined controls, and upgraded social features.

The HOK Plus 2.0 rollout underlines Honor of Kings’ strategy to connect gameplay, creator growth, and esports development as it scales its presence in India.
